New wiki has gone live

Zanz changed the link on the game page so that http://elementswiki.co.cc/ is now officially the official wiki.

I would like to thank everyone for their hard work in building this new wiki. There are still many more things to add and fix but we are slowly getting there. I will bet my Elements account that in a couple of months Elements Wiki will be absolutely amazing. You will see.

One problem I've been experiencing though: Whenever I go to the main page, the Featured Articles 'screen' blocks the Featured Card page, which is kind of irritating (it also spills over the margins into the advertisements and whatnot). Is this a computer/internet browser (I use FireFox) issue I'm having? Or is this a coding problem?

Hmmm... that might be the problem. (I don't know what my screen resolution is, nor do I know how to change it >_> ) I don't want to derail the thread, but do you know how to fix one's computer in terms of screen resolution to prevent these sort of 'mishaps'?

(I wonder how it even got skewed to begin with, now that I think about it...)

Yep, this was my initial reaction too.

But to be sure I went ahead and used an online browser test thing, testing wiki frontpage with 30+ different browsers including all the Firefox versions and I wasn't able to replicate this "bug" so the problem is most likely your system.

Go to View -> Zoom -> Reset  .. and see if that fixes it.

Tried that - it had no effect. I even used the 'zoom out' option, and instead I got the same issue - no matter what the zooming resolution is, the Featured articles box seems to refuse to adjust accordingly:

(I need to figure out if my computer resolution screen is messed up, and how to 'default it' regardless of the conditions. Hm...)

Really weird.. Seems like your Firefox browser just doesn't like the "Featured Articles" animation thing we have there.

I'll try to find a way to fix this but it's going to be very difficult because so far you are the only one with this problem and I cannot replicate the bug.

I don't know if you have the new version of Firefox or not, but if you don't, upgrade it to the latest version. Also upgrade your custom plugins if you have those.

UPDATE:

Oh boy. I just realized that my lame laptop can only have a resolution up to 1280 x 800. Ugh. No wonder the height-width dimensions are so messed up. >.< I can't increase it any further based on the limitations of this machine...

But anyway, I guess I can deal with the featured card being slightly cut off by the special 'Featured Articles' tab thingy. Hopefully no one else has the same problems I do. ^^;
