I'm not sure how Wikia does is exactly but I can guarantee that if an "admin" goes rogue and starts to disrupt their operation by posting redirect links, that "admin" will get a visit from the real admins and will have his/her powers removed.

Then again Elements Wiki gets so little traffic that they might not just care. Who knows, and more importantly, who cares?

Once Zanz changes the game page link and everyone starts to use the new Wiki, old one will slowly and drop in search results after which nobody is going to find it.


Bloodshadow, you could actually put a link to the new Wiki on the "old" Wiki front page right now. That would help with the transition I think. Do it and lets see what happens.

Well, you are a Wiki Editor, you tell me.

Wiki will never be "ready" because there's always more things to add. However in its current form, the new version is 100 times better than the "old" one (which doesn't even have the new cards listed!). That "old" wiki has been dead for a long time now (after Chriskang left), and it's time to bury it for good.

Nothing stops us from putting the link there right now. It's actually a good thing because this way we can slowly increase traffic and make the transition more smooth. So yeah, please put the link on the front page. It doesn't have to be with big letters or anything like that, but it should be in a easy-to-spot place, separate from other links, with maybe some words explaining this whole project.

For example you could put it below the:

Hm.. an hour later, and I don't see anything. Maybe they did remove it. Of course there could also be some kind of a system against outbound links.

If they stop you from deleting it can't you argue against it or something - what does the Terms and conditions thing say about this situation?

Er... I changed the protection level of the main page so that only admins can edit it. That might be why you couldn't see it.

But now I've changed it back to "everyone can edit", and I've logged out. I can still see it perfectly. Log out and try again if you have time.
