Minor Errors

here are some incorrect 'errors' I spotted whilst surfing the wiki:

1. Lightning (Unupgraded) http://elementsthegame.wikia.com/wiki/Mark_of_Aether
says in the text 'Cost 2 ' but the image has '3 ' in the top corner o_O

2. Why are some cards 'Artifacts'? E.g. HourGlass and Sundial
--Sundial I would understand as it is not permanent, however HourGlass is ?? 
Nightfall/Eclipse are Permanants (in groovy red font too)

3. Vampire Dagger (Upgraded) http://elementsthegame.wikia.com/wiki/Mark_of_Darkness
says damage is 4 in the text, whereas in game it is now 6

4. Similarly Vampire Stilletto (Unupgraded one) http://elementsthegame.wikia.com/wiki/Mark_of_Darkness
says damage is 2 in the text, whereas in game it is now 4 I blieve

5. On the upgraded cards of (and also Scarab Unupgraded) the quanta icons are blurred/smudged

lol - sorry to nitpic but these are what I noticed when simply browsing through the cards lists
not sure if some of the things mentioned above go onto other pages, I just put the links to the one's I was looking at

also at the bottom of those pages it has the quick link bar of all the elements

1. could you please add in Other to that bar also thanks

2. why does it go in a random order? ( Entropy    Death    Gravity    Earth    Life    Fire    Water    Light    Air    Time    Darkness    Aether)
why not alphabetically or in order they appear in the quanta storage box (when playing)?

ignore point 2 after the 1st edit.... it is in order of the Bazaar :/ hrmmm

I also used the 'Random Page' button and got the following:
1st it went to this page: http://elementsthegame.wikia.com/wiki/Data/Improved_Fog  which is... wait... what? Nothing's there :|
2nd it took me to the homepage grrr - what was the point in that lol?
3rd was a normal page (Dissipation Field)
4th another pointless page?? http://elementsthegame.wikia.com/wiki/Data/Jade_Staff   again, nothing there -- what are these '/Data' pages? they are annoying and can only seem to be gotten to if you use the 'Random Page' button or type in '/Data'
5th onwards - decks and stuff but then lots of Data pages in there too >_< grr -- fix please

Yes, the Wiki you gave links to is the "old" wiki. It has tons of missing content and false information. I personally wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Link on game page still takes you to that "old" wiki but hopefully we get that fixed soon.

The new wiki is almost ready. What do I do with the old wiki when we officially switch to the new one? I don't really feel like just leaving it there and let it die off...

Is there a way to completely REMOVE the old wiki somehow? As in, take everything from it off, remove all the images, strategies, misc. links, etc. and only have one huge redirection towards the new wiki? That way, you don't have to let it 'die off', but kill it immediately so it doesn't wander around and cause confusion in case people need help.

Unfortunately, I don't think so. Just like everybody, Wikia is self-centered and want as much people visiting their website as possible. If I go to them and say, "I'm sorry, but you guys suck so we've decided to ditch you and use another wiki", what do you think they're gonna do? Even if I just delete the entire wiki, Wikia will probably revert my edit.

But I think maybe they won't object if I put a redirect in. Technically that's allowed, because I'm admin so I can basically do anything.

Well, in that case, maybe you can delete 'most' of the information on the old wiki, then just post the redirection link on nearly all of the pages to bring people to our New wiki site? ^^; Either way, the redirect is probably the best solution, in case you can remove the old one due to their greedy tendency to hook everyone in.

I was thinking redirects yes -- to auto take you to the new one from the old one, but I was thinking to the same page
e.g. I open a link to old wiki (ow) homepage and it auto takes me to the nw (figure it out) homepgae
I open a link to the ow Feral Bond page and it auto takes me to the nw Feral Bond page

This way you can get redirected to the topic you are looking for without have to search for it again....

also I like this idea because there are soo many old links in this forum that links me to the old wiki and it would be better if it would take me straight to the new wiki without me  ever knowing! ^^

Haha, no you can't. As an Wikia "admin" you are working as a slave for them and they have the final say about everything. It's not really even an "admin" position, at least not how I understand the term. You are more like a global moderator or something. If you start doing things like asking people to go to new wiki or put up a bunch of redirect scripts, you will probably be replaced very fast.

Bottom line is that Wikia doesn't care about Elements at all. Only thing they care about is traffic, and if you do something to try to decrease that traffic, they won't like it.
