Like I said, it's a process and keeps changing until I'm happy. I changed those buttons first thing in the morning when I woke up.
I like simple, easy to use, navigation. The version Lyelle did has some usability issues that I find problematic. It uses new graphics so users have to learn to use it before it gets efficient. Anyone can test it. Just try to find a specific element as fast as possible and you will find that it takes that extra split second to find it because icons are small and partly transparent, names and not horizontally aligned, and colors are sometimes different from the game.
Elements already has awesome icon graphics that are known to all the players. Whatever navigation we use, those icons have to be at the center of that navigation.
I'd really like a system where all the icons were in a circle, and you would get extra information on hover. That would be both cool looking and easy to use.
Still Lyelle put a lot of work into that navigation so I really would like to use it somehow. Maybe it can be "fixed", I don't know.
