As seen in the old schedule, the plan was to give each element two one hour long segments in which a playlist dedicated to that element would play. However, this plan meant that there was no room for other content other than music. And if a playlist was put aside for content, then there was not time for that playlist in the future scheduling. This was also particularly unfair to elements featured later at night as there would be considerably smaller viewership.
And, honestly, who'd open up a stream for just music?
So, with that being said, what would you, the community, like to keep Element-centric playlists going on at different times? If so, how long do you think that window should be?
Considering there is a lot of dead time in the forums when it gets dark in the States, there will be no music going on during some of that time. While mostly seamless, there will be a point at which the stream will be offline. This much has been decided, but the matter is when that window should be. When do you guys feel that it's fine if the Radio is dead? What exact times are the Forums quiet?
