By the way, I would add to Wyand's notes that in the Finals, someone with 2 Stones and 8-10 upgrades will fight someone else with 4 Stones and 20 upgrades. A big uphill, but not impossible.

that's the most justice I can do for the case.

That's because someone will have 4 stones and 20 upgrades. They don't consume the Stone for 5 upgrades, they just have both, one as a result of the other.

Grabbows don't quite work when you get 1 nova in 15 cards. OE showed up just a turn late for me to start sniping SoFos.

Kinda half expected this deck again, adrenastaves is a smooth counter to DBH. Things got rough when he realized he could lobotomize my staves by BEing them... but he was a couple of turns behind.

Modified my airlight to have better SoFo resistance, including swapping out an EE - bad bad mistake. :v Got him down to 20 ish HP with several shockwaves in hand, but couldn't find another EE before it was too late.

When Maxwells didn't show up this worked out well. Held all my SoFrees in hand, and burst played them when Wyand used up his SoFo. Unlucky, seeing he had 4. A T2 Discord would have made this much closer, but doubt it would have been enough for him.


Used Soul Stone on SoFree. Best of luck, Mobian and Jen - I'm looking forward to the final match, although it will certainly be an uphill battle.

Decks after Phase 1. You know I wanted to play a relaxed game, because with 8 ups against as , heh.
Instead of that losing g3 due to misplay (did a horrible amount of misplays tonight, unusual, haven't eaten too much
today... :/ ), and in g5 RNG just spat in my face. Entro against monoair, what could go wrong? Like not getting
Discord until turn 7. And not getting none of my Maxwells (4 in deck). Really. (About 1% chance not getting nor Discord,
nor MDs in 6 turns.) Wanted to have a relaxed game and now I'm totally pissed, thx u bitch!
(OK Oa, maybe not a confident win with T2 Discord, but considering the amount of cards able to hold you back in my
deck and only drawing SoFs... it is at least a 50%-50% matchup, not just making your win harder. )

Had a pretty weak draw on my part ... but a solid counter to his deck (yay soul stone!) He opened with 5 quanta and a Gargoyle, I shockwaved it immediately, a dragon followed shortly after, to be met by two shockwaves ... for the most part I killed everything he played within a turn or two, but given my low quanta start I took a hammering before I stabilized at south of 30 HP remaining.

Had a great draw and topdecked almost all the important cards at the right time ... and his draw was garbage one early SoV and the rest buried until the last 10-12 cards ... this was going to be a tough match regardless ... but not drawing an SoD doomed me ... Fog did an epic job blocking his Vagger like 3 turns in a row, I got him down to 2 cards ... but it was not to be.

Got a solid draw and only a lone Animate Weapon for him ... SkyBlitz scored me a bunch of damage and I eked out a win one turn before I was beaten ... however Time Stone made us replay.

I got a much worse draw in game 2 and he got a much better draw ... I conceded the game early, there was no coming back.

His Draw was horrid ... solid quanta start, but almost no damage in play at all, but 2 pends + 2 damsels was all I got and the deck just doesn't run on that ... I could barely get enough damage on the table to counter a Vagger, let alone the lonely lycan he had in play.
