Is the plan for this chat to stay IRC forever? Because ever since i cannot come on elements chat i have become really sad and my life became darker. even though my favorite element is darkness, this is not good news.

Unless we can get enough funding to afford the old chat again, the chat stays IRC (which is free).

(If you were banned from chat/can't access chat due to technical difficulties, there's not much I can do on that part.)

Get a home internet provider / find a proxy that isn't banned by your uni :v

yep, a proxy would probably be your best bet

Instead of the IRC sending it straight to your network, the proxy stands in for you, then shuttles what it receives to you.
