Chat problems

Not sure if anyone else has this, but it's been bugging me for a few days.

When I click on the chat button it opens and loads - but only up till the point where it should load the list of people and the recent messages. But it doesn't. I can write messages but cannot send them.

Can anyone help?

That's what it does for me on a mobile device (checked with stock, Opera Mobile, Opera Mini, Dolphin and Boat).

Try it now. If problems persist, ensure your browser is up-to-date. You're using this on a non-mobile device, right?

That's strange - it works for me on up-to-date Firefox. What operating system are you using? Do you have Javascript enabled?

Windows XP (SP3) and yes, Javascript is enabled.

I just downloaded Chrome and it doesn't work there either.

I just checked the Java site and it says my Java is not working.. going to try and reinstall it.

That's odd ... is anyone else having this problem?

Try using Ctrl+F5 twice. If that doesn't work, try this temporary fix.

Also, in Chrome, press Ctrl+Shift+J and tell me what errors pop up if any, besides "Unsafe JavaScript attempt to access frame with URL".

Neither of those work, unfortunately. Reinstalled the newest version of Java, and it is still not working.

As for the console stuff: it changes each time I load it up, but the first two reference errors are always there.

Well, that explains it. This is an essential file. Will it load if you follow the link? If not, why not? Perhaps it's blocked for some reason.

Ah.. well, I set the date back on my PC to may to be able to play something. Firefox gave me Secure connection failed warnings about google because of this, but I didn't think it would interfere with chat.

It works now that I set the date back to what it should be.
