Water gets abnormally bad luck
The element you must use is the first one as importance and then the deckbuilding and prediction skills(first example that comes in mind is Gravity team).
There is a lot of variance in an elements ranking from war to war. This indicates to me that either player skill (including all skills involved in War) or luck has a higher impact on the results than the element chosen.

In addition to Aether passing Entropy, Time also passed Entropy thanks to this War where Entropy got their worst ranking yet; 7th.
