I thought I'd lost this on the coin toss after not getting enough of a lock down early - JCJ was able to play an early SoP, Warden, Gemfinder and Squid. A few Devs were able to keep more creatures off the board, though, and with the quanta they produced I was able to play enough Vampires to outdamage JCJ.

Another lost toss, with a one pillar draw vs turn 2 Poseidon. Pretty much the worst case scenario. If I can get some Antlions burrowed early then I've got a good chance to win chip damage from Vagger and either Gargoyle burst or a stolen SoP to buff the Antlions. No chance at all to pull that off this game, though - the lost toss meant Squid came before Antlions, the Poseidon left me without the quanta to Steal anything.

Between 4 or 5 early Bonewalls in the top half for JCJ and 3 to 4 chained SoSac in the late game, I never had a chance to get any damage in. Nicely played.

I had a very scary opening hand, with no Dagger and only two Shards. However, I topdecked a Dagger a turn later, and three or so turns later I had one SoI, three SoV to make an 11 Vampire Golem. The healing was just enough to get an exact damage win.

8 Pillars in the top 9 cards left me without anything to play but a Gargoyle for most of the game. Though I did draw into Dagger fairly early, I needed either a rushy start or Dusk to win this one, and ended up with neither. Ended up losing with about 50 spare Darkness quanta.
