He told me he prayed for me not to play pestal this game, but with sanctuary and crema still on the cards, it was a very risky bet. He thus brought his life-firestall, hoping that his jade shield will fend off magic damage from psions or phase dragons. Yet phoenixtal was a decent pair for me despite him putting a good amount of fire storms in his deck since... well phoenixes can be reborn from ashes. He fought amazingly well and went very close to one shot me with fire lances (he took some for sure this time). 3-1
