Vault editing should be primarily done by the team Vault Organizer using the following link: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AkPg5hwmtLisdDdQemVXaFVoMkJDWWdsVkRsZGhEekE&hl=en&authkey=CJDf8IgE

Do not give this link to anyone outside your team!

When you edit the Vault, please post on this topic, explaining what edits you made. For example:
Quote
Round 1:
Salvage +24
Discard -18
You do not have to list specific cards. Changes might take up to 5 minutes to become visible.

I say we start off building with emm.... 2 decks per person and use any extras left for sideboards. Or we can go with the 'exploit' tactic Terro mentioned.

For reference.
Per war rules:

500 cards - 54 spent on team =
446 cards for the initial vault.

- at least 50% of cards have to be from your element
- maximum of 24 per card from your element (restriction doesn't apply to Pillars or Pendulums)
- maximum of 12 per card from other elements (restriction doesn't apply to Pillars or Pendulums)
- no Shards

If I remember correctly, quanta denial is one of the strongest strategies of the last war.  It worked when I defeated corrum's rainbow rush with Reverse Times and EQs and Discords are always deadly.

Due to the allowance of conversions and that we can only convert twelve cards per round, I think a safe number of pillars to "leave out" of the vault would be either 24 or 36. So once we have decided what to put in our vault, we can subtract that many pillars/pendulums and add that many of some different cards.

Here is a temporary vault I made for us. https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AvAyJesW4_jidFJpTU1wTjA1bE5JT21xQjh6R3FLaVE&hl=en&authkey=CLKYwqEL

I made a new tab on Demagog's Vault page and filled in my idea of a good starting vault on my tab (the one named SkyVault).  Feel free to copy the SS into your own tab and run through your own attempt.

I added some auto-card counts at the top, including the number of cards over limit (the top left number beside "vault"), the total number of cards used, the total number of earth cards used, total weapons, and total shields.  They sum up the relevant fields below.  That all gets copied if you use "duplicate" to make a new tab.

The top left box will say "Legal Vault" if you meet the requirements for the vault (within 446 cards, and at least half earth cards).

Making a viable vault for that many deck options is pretty hard.  In my tab I tried as much as possible to include all the deck components in the other thread.  My first attempt was 150 cards over limit, and I had to slash nearly everything I could to make it work.  I cut the nymphs just because not everybody has them and I was trying for maximum flexibility.  I also tried to give extras to cards that were central, or cards I'm pretty sure people will salvage from us.

I'd suggest everybody make their own tab if they want to take a shot at tweaking the vault, then we can make our final version from comparing those.  It's easy to copy the whole sheet into a new one with the duplicate option, I made an extra tab (copy of vault) which is unclaimed, for the first person to rename it.

Also, note that we can only convert :earth pillars and pendulums, not any of the other elements.  So we do need any other elements in our starting vault if our decks have them.

I checked and I have 158 starting pillars and pendulums.  That's a third of our vault right there.  Ditch the pillars (outside of earth) and you ditch the decks that use them since we can't convert others.

Ok, I threw together a rough draft of the vault based off the preferred decks thread: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AvAyJesW4_jidFJpTU1wTjA1bE5JT21xQjh6R3FLaVE&hl=en&authkey=CLKYwqEL#gid=2 (should be the "copy of vault" tab).

Basically, I doubled up on a lot of our decks... the golem/immolation, the discord, the EQ/pest, and the flying glory deck. I started us off with as few earth pillars/pendulums as I felt comfortable with. Just for a list of supported decks (by name only):

Scrambled Shrieker x2
Golem Immolation x2
EQ/Pest x2
Flying Glory x2
SS/Poison
Scarab/Plate Armor
Oty/Plate/Pendulums
Fractal Shrieker/Phase Shield Stall
Antimatter/Dissipation Stall
Nova/Voodoo/GP
Shrieker/Nightmare
And probably a few others that aren't coming to mind, as well as any thing else we can come up with based off those cards.

Many of the cards overlap in those decks, meaning the vault doesn't support each deck individually. Let me know what yall think.

For some strange reason, someone had deleted both the title and the Vault card total fields. Title is not a big deal but the Vault total is very important which is why it's probably not a good idea to delete it.

All you need to do is insert numbers next to card names. Totals are counted automatically.

And if you fail, you can always use the undo function.

Don't worry about it, you most likely won't be doing anything with the vault other than looking at it.
