Reasoning: they'll keep wings and shockwaves unless they give up on air duo's altogether. Toadfishes are important as they are what passes for offense for water creatures, shields/bolts/freeze are crucial water stall cards, but they may have a ton of them. They'll want to drop what they have plenty of or can replace - pillars/pendulums unless their other battles go badly.

Reasoning: none of this is great for water, quint helps water establish toadfish-based cc or pufferfish-poison, but I think dim shields are more likely as a strategy. It's hard to get the quanta for quint or adrenaline in water. Water also duo's poorly with life - the life stuff you want is just too expensive, requiring too many pillars.
