Plate Armor's also great with Otys.  It looks like a control deck though, and wouldn't the Golems just slow you down?

I had thought about going with 6 Otys +  Plate Armours and taking Golems out, I might tweak it and test it that way later.

The Golems were simply just there to provide some low cost muscle to the deck.

Either way do you think i'm on the right track to prepare for the variety of decks I could be up against?

Just gonna post the deck I'm currently testing with.  I had to ditch SKY1-SKY4 as I realized none of them had enough earth to be legal.  So this is:

SKY5 deck
Code: [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vl 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58u 58u 58u 58u 58u 590 590 590 590 591 591 5f6 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fa 5fa 5fa 5faI've run a few tests, not done yet.  It's a fairly fast deck, I ended up putting in a deflag as a hail mary against stall shields.

Ok this deck is slower and heavily reliant on opponent using buttloads of creatures but has also tested well so far:

Maybe thinking about adding more cards in since I have a high control element I want to make sure I dont deck out.

Guys, I really need yall to pay attention to the vault. Many of you are putting cards in your decks that we don't have.

Alright, Dreggs, if you want to use the earth/gravity deck, you'll have to take only five oty's and use earth pendulums. We don't have gravity pillars and we only have five oty's. Get rid of those earthquakes since they will only slow you down. Life has cheap cards. You'll want golems so you can do damage. Honestly, I'm not sure that your deck is a good idea... What would you think of something like this:

Code: [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58q 58q 58r 58r 58r 591 591 595 595 595 595 595 595 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 5ooYour only concerns would be permanent control, dragons, and cockatrice. FFQ's would also be troublesome. The deck probably needs work... The earth/gravity could work, but I have a strong feeling he'll go for the druid deck.

Code: [Select]
55q 55q 55r 55r 55r 55r 55r 58q 58q 58q 58q 58q 58t 58t 58t 58t 58v 58v 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa
I'm thinking you'd do well with the immolation deck.

Code: [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 58u 58u 58u 58u 58u 58u 590 590 590 595 595 5f6 5f6 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fb 5fbSky, I think you should stick with the dissipation stall.

As for me, I'm thinking this:

Code: [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 590 590 590 591 591 591 591 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 77g 77g 77gI'd appreciate some thoughts.

Sorry, I've only been checking the finalized decks, not ones in progress.

Here's my likely deck vs Miniwally.  With any luck, he'll be preparing for me to use Death while expecting me to counter his probable use of Darkness.

Code: [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 591 591 591 591 593 593 593 593 593 593 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5up 5up 5up 5up 5v1 5v1

Sorry Demagog forgot about the pillars thing.

I think I will go with the immolation/golem rush type deck if thats ok, i think looking at the 3 options that would have the best chance of going toe to toe.

I have used a similar deck in PvP and to farm T50 so I would be pretty comfortable using it.

Only thing is was someone else not wanting to use the Lava Golems?

Skydaemon was testing that deck with me earlier today.  Talk to him about it I'd say.

Sky, I think you should stick with the dissipation stall.
I pulled samples of gravity decks from the first war, nearly all would've beaten the dissipation stall.  Mainly because, most decks they had used titans, which beat the deck without another card played.  The main one that didn't was loaded with earthquakes and pulverizers, which could easily wipe out the pillars powering the shield.

I have no idea how I'm supposed to win with that deck against pretty much any deck from gravity so I ditched it for something closer to terro's idea.

Coinich, I think you need more offense. Remove a pest and an EQ, add two shriekers. Then remove two nightmares and two steals and add two dusk mantles and two stone pillars.

Sky, go ahead and use the immolation deck I just posted. Yours with the novas means we can't use scrambled shriekers, which Terro will probably be using.

Dreggs, we'll think of something for you.

Did $$$man agree to giving Legit the poison deck?
