I just threw that suicide together... We're gonna have to get rid of ten of those earth cards. If we made a suicide with two earth cards and 28 other element cards, we'd then discard six earth cards due to the penalty so we'd only have to take 2 people next round. However we'd lose eight more off element cards with this type of deck.

If you want to use a thirty card deck instead, go ahead. Just make sure there are two earth cards in it.

Ok so I made this deck in the trainer. It's for Terro to use. It uses the two pillars taken from the devourer/pest deck we lost as well. If this is used, we can't use the immolation deck I used last round (it's crappy anyway haha) and we can't use the two stone pillars I mentioned previously anywhere else.

That would work. I figured we'd save the other two EA's though, just in case. It will be easier to decide once we know who you're going up against. You may not even take this deck. It would just let Azumi and I take our two "good" decks instead of one of us having to take a bad one. I'm testing this one as is and it's doing fine though. Except that quicksand isn't upped.

Also, the nova is just for a quick quanta boost and to keep the animates from taking earth/death quanta. And the extra animate serves a dual purpose as a way to ensure you'll get a flying arsenic out so you can play another, and as an extra "PA" if the deck is up against permanent control.




Also, we need to think about taking a suicide deck this round. We need to discuss what cards to get rid of from our vault, and which earth cards to keep. If we do make a suicide deck, we have to win our other two matches. Otherwise I don't think we stand much of a chance.

Drats..me vs Antagon..I'd love to be able to beat him but its going to be hard.

From previous matches I think Antagon might go with a frack pho deck which is gonna be hard to counter. I'd suggest going suicide but if not then....

1) Discords...though the immos will "counter" it
2) Titan Shield + PA+ Otys if we have any still..but last time I used it luck wasn't on our side.
3) Suicide
4) Stall with PAed PS and some heals (stone skins and mirc?)

Well, that deck I posted for Terro looks like it might be his best choice... We know all of the cards entropy has of their own element, except for maybe five, three they discarded from their suicide, and a possible two more that they could have had and not put in that deck. I'm pretty sure it would only be three from their suicide deck though.

Zeru would most likely use his rainbow deck, since they know it works and it's a very important match. I don't know that our other two decks could beat it. The poison one stands a chance probably, and can beat whatever deck they make out of the rest of their entropy cards. Here's their suicide deck from last round:

As for the fire matches, it's a tough decision. Either both of us can take decks, the flying discord and the earth/time decks, or one of us could take one of those, and the other take a suicide. If we suicided, we'd have to decide which deck to take and who to take it against.

Since they are fielding three people, they probably got rid of as few fire cards as they could, so they probably gave up three like entropy would have (most likely).

If fire is any kind of "intelligent," they will see that entropy most likely has three discords for the deck they will likely use. The deck they have that counters that, other than taking a bunch of deflags, is their nova deck, which also has several deflags already, so that makes it more likely that they will use it there.

That leaves Antagon's fractal phoenix deck, which only he can use, and whatever they can make using at least 15 fire cards from the suicide above (although they have so many, it will likely be mostly fire). Here is the deck they would probably make (something similar to it anyway):

Him taking that would probably mean they couldn't use their novas against entropy's discords, so it's probably not likely.

So I imagine that Antagon will use the fractal phoenix, Corrum will use their fire/aether (he also used it in R6), and girls will use their nova deck.

The discord deck is probably our best bet against Antagon's fractal phoenix. The discord deck would probably be our best bet against their fire/aether deck as well, as long as the discords stall their aether quanta long enough to get some burrowed shriekers out. The time/earth deck MIGHT be able to beat the fractal phoenix deck... this may be something we should test. It definitely couldn't beat the aether deck due to the lightnings. At least I don't think it could.

So if we all take decks, Terro would probably take the flying arsenic deck, Azumi could take either the discord deck or the earth/time deck if testing goes well, and my only option is probably the discord deck.

I think I can test the earth/time vs fractal/phoenix on my own with my two accounts. Depending on how that goes, I'll post my comment about whether or not it would be a good idea for me to take a suicide deck and let Azumi take the discord deck, or let him take the earth/time and me the discord.

Of course, if anyone disagrees, speak up.

Discords are fine but I expect Anta is going to bring explosions/deflags thus discords are not going to be too effective...also like I said discords vs immolation is pointless. Once he gets 1 pho out its an easy win.

I lean towards a suicide not b/c I'm lazy but it is quite stratigic. We might get lucky (if this runs for another round) and Antagon will face entropy

We've still got some Devourers...

Unfortunately, we don't have more than 1 EQ to go with them. The deck also requires a minimum of 10 Pillars (That's for a Shrieker offense, and we don't even have that).

So, scratch that. We can't use Devourers because the deck will be too low on offense to win before the opponent gets out of the lock.

I think the deck you posted for me looks ok, but not actually all that good. Maybe we can test it against Zeru's likely decks.

For the Antagon matchup, we could use our Discord deck, which I think went about 40-60% in the testing (Non-Trident version, with Titaniums and Devourers) but I don't think that's good enough.

So, if we go suicide vs. Antagon, and then use the Discord deck vs. Corrum, I could use basically what I did last round, this:

I wish we had a couple more EQ's, but this might do the trick. It would definitely be a little slower than the discord deck, but an early trident would take out his aether pillars for sure.

I just need someone to test this with me.
