Best bet is probably what everyone else is saying with flying glories. EA would be nice for the pillars if they try something but I think they have enough discords left for 1--2 or maybe even 3 in his deck. I can't imagine them using anything else..discords if they get lucky with it can shut down most decks.

Terro posted a good deck for it

I can't see them having much more than a semi suicide deck...but who knows. Looks like a good eck was posted..I'd prefer a shield or 2 (grav) b/c it always helps if the otys get shy and stay near the bottom.

Dim shields :P

My guess for both  :fire match ups will be them trying to go heavy creature control or fast rush decks with perma control. If they go heavy control they run the risk of us going with burrowed Garboids but a fire shield would force them out. For the match ups I'd suggest looking into EAs with good shields...I'd say dusk over fog b/c its haxxing with 90% miss chance...maybe trying a dev deck with it.

Ok so I was looking at the elemental history for fire, and it looks like they've lost 12 immolations and salvaged none (they beat an immolation deck but didn't get to salvage). So that means at most they can use 1 immolation deck. Antagon isn't playing, so it won't be their fractal phoenix deck. I expect one of their decks to be their poison/fire deck. It's super heavy on CC, has 6 poisons and 1 arsenic (they had an identical one last round but lost it). I expect their other one to be their phase shield stall, with quinted fire spirits. They could just use an immolation deck though... I'm fairly confident one will be their poison deck though, since we beat them with our phase shield deck already, and will probably expect that. Their quinted forest spectre/phase shield deck would also be one of their best choices against our phase shield deck. If they suspect our immolation deck (and if they've been keeping tabs on our matches and see we may have salvaged the cards to make another, which we almost have depending on what we take this round), both of those decks would also work.

Anyway, I think the way to beat them will be healing. So the poison stall, a flying glory deck, or just something else that uses stone skins. The thing is, they have EQ's... the poison deck isn't as quanta reliant as the glory deck is, and has some EA's... One other option is probably $$$man's deck, although I think he should take one less RT and one more shrieker, since all of their decks are heavy on direct creature CC (except one which has 18 towers, dragons, fahrenhiets, phoenixes, and a fire shield). However, his deck would definitely lose to their phase shield deck, and probably to their poison deck as well, since they'd kill all his creatures before he could kill them. So really his deck is a long shot in my opinion. They just have too much CC for only 7 creatures with such low health.

Thoughts?

I agree that a Shrieker rush deck will likely be unable to cope with their huge amounts of control, but, while they did have EQs, they lost them and have had no chance to salvage any.

Which leads me to believe that the Glory deck is a good choice, although it may have difficulty healing past the possibility of over-grown Lava Golems. And, killing before they could potentially get enough quanta to finish it with Bolts, even if we do have 300 hp. It is a veeery slow deck, and we only have so many Miracles that we can use if we get paranoid about their cards in hand, ect. That's the time you really wish you could have precognition for free... (Get it? Get it? Precognition=Time. Get it? :D )

Anyways, going to sleep now, but I'll be up tomorrow to post the decks for everyone, if need be.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

Terro, they could have salvaged some EQ's in R1. Plastiqe's match.
