One of the best shields in the game. Blocks a LOT of damage, when you deal lots of damage too. Very few shields can be compared with it. Like bone shield for example....

it crushes all spam decks, and can seriously impede a rush deck

This deck has saved my life loads of times especially against other rush decks like those of the life mark. 

Shuts down certain unupgraded cards with no difficulty too.

A much deserved buff for a vanilla shield.
It still might pale in comparison to tower shield if that card stays at it's current cost, however.

Alright, this buff was definitley needed, especially with the release of tower shield (Titanium Shield is with PA now slightly cheaper  quanta-wise than Jade Shield upped), however...

Tower Shield = 1/2
Rainbow = 1/3 of elemental cost because of QT and SN.
Tower Shield = .3/.6 (1/1 rounded up)  (Just an example)

Titanium shield costs 3 more for one damage.
Diamond shield costs 5 more for one damage.

Conclusion: Tower shield = OP / Titanium/Diamond needs a further cost reduction.

Just mentioning it. I am NOT saying that this is the case, since the new shield will be getting balanced.
