You can also use in in conjunction with Gravity Shield for your opponents.

9 months? Try 2 and a half years

I think this card would be nice without an element (e.g. same effect, but costs 2 .) I think it'd get used a lot more. Though as it is, I don't have any problem with it.

Well you could use it to buff the fragile but deadly scorpions or the glass cannon  creatures.

Heavy Armor can be used together with unupped Rage Potion resulting in a total of +5|+1, very useful for certain creatures.
Shrieker: from 8|3 to 13|4. Elite Shrieker: from 10|4 to 15|5.
Ball lightning: from 5|0 to 10|1

I used to play one Plate Armor in my Grabboid/Shrieker deck. Coupled with Precognition it can protect Shriekers from most CC for at least a turn (long enough to Burrow)

Heavy Armor turns a regular Otyugh into a dragon-eating monster. I love it! I never use it for anything else!
