I like the changes you made to make the deck more balanced, but this is a deck that I definitely recommend using with a time mark and grabboids (which surprisingly is technically still a mono). This gives you real threats early in the game that can compete with other rushes while slowing them down with BB and shields while still chipping away with the riders. Eventually you get dragons out to finish games against CC heavy opponents or shields that kill the evolved shriekers, but running 6 earth dragons in a deck would require a lot more CC to survive.
The shields are a really good use of 2 card slots in a mono earth deck that most people over look. There are a lot of decks that a titanium shield shuts down of slows to irrelevance (nightfall-stalkers, mono life adrenaline, anything with arsenic as it's primary threat). The lone enchant artifact is probably a waste however. The odds of you getting it before they draw one of their 2 or 3 (or more) PC cards are so bad you are better off running another shield if that's what you really want to protect or just putting another threat into the deck. I like the idea of adding a sword to this deck. It isn't a lot of extra damage but it bypasses sundials and can't be CCed.
Six gnome riders is a lot and since we are changing several stone dragons to grabboids the cost of the deck is still very manageable if we remove a couple of them.
So here's what I came up with:
