No Shriekers here, boss. https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=6093.msg62211#msg62211

Here is my take on an Earth deck, which doesn't rely on shriekers and graboids.

Here's the deck

Deck import code : [Select]
778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 779 779 779 779 779 779 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77c 77c 77i 77i 77k 77k 8pm

You can put your own spin on this deck, such as taking out the PAs if you know you won't be going against anything that threatens your shields. Taking out the granite skin if you're going against a rush. Replacing granite skin with shriekers (Although, that defeats the point of the deck, since it's specifically designed to not have shriekers in it.) This deck would need a couple more towers to support dragons, so those aren't recommended in place of shriekers.  You can also throw in a gavel or two, make it 32 card and it doesn't hurt it.

How to use the deck:

Fairly straight forward, but here are some general tips. First, if you have two antilons, play those two creatures over a steel golem, as that's 2 extra damage; unless you think your opponent will kill the antilons. (Mono-aether deck with lighting, for example.) Granite skin acts as a last minute save mid to late game.  Protect artifacts go with the shields, if you're going against an earth deck, with quicksand they can be used on the towers.

Stats:

AI3- 11-0  No problems with it, just a bit slow, so not ideal for farming.
T50- 4-2
AI5 3-3 Loses as much as it wins, really just depends on which deck you end up going against.

Why are the steel golems better than shriekers in this situation?  :?

Also, I would like to see basilisk blood , but a good deck nevertheless!

Granite skin and diamond shield basically ensure you against other rush type decks, which is awesome (especially if you can protect your shield)

Golems cost half of a shrieker, and make the granite skins more effective for a last second save. Granite skins saved me multiple times against other rush decks by just buying me an extra turn, 4 more quantum makes a difference there. I originally did have basilisk blood in place of the shields and PA, but the shields are better against rush decks than bloods. Saves you from 3xN N=number of creatures. Basilisk blood saves you from just the creature's attack for 6 turns.

Ah I see now.  Yeah, that's a very good point.  Now I see you went with cost effective cards to save for more granite skin saves !

Still fairly new to the game, and am building my own earth deck, since I won an auburn nymph the other day.

I agree on the steel golems. I'm finding those to have a good strength for their cost. I have found the nymph (or in its place, basilisk blood), to be useful for those creatures that Diamond Shield won't stop.

Well, this is the reworked version I've been using in PVP.

Code: [Select]
778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 779 779 779 779 779 779 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77b 77c 77c 77l 77l 77l
Since the new rules of naming threads, I came back to edit the title. Since I'm here, I'll add this.

Nice new title :) But more importantly antilions and golems are upgraded first right?

Yep, first antilons so they're outside RoF range, then the golems. After that go for 5 pillars or so, then the shields, then back to pillars. BB and Dragon are last, do whichever you like out of those first.

Sounds good. Ive got 8 random earth pillars just sitting around so that should work just fine for me.
