I used this one for a while, and then tried out the quicksand variant. Basically, I took 3 Antlions and 1 Shreiker out; and then added 4 Quicksands. So far it has worked wonders.

Yes, Quicksand slows the aggro deck; but as someone pointed it out already, it slows them down more than it slows you. It has been very crippling against Rainbows (Both time and Entropy); and played smart can also cripple almost any duo deck. Yet, it stills maintains enough speed like to regularly outspeed rush decks (I still regularly win against Life rush decks).

I'm still working on fully upgrading my copy of this deck, but it's been a blast so far.

Fully upgraded, will this thing take on FG?  Or am I going to need to move over to a rainbow deck for that?

Of course it wont. It's fast, but not fast enough.

i came up with this version independently, i like it better than 6 grabs 6 shriekers too, i'm saving up dough to upgrade this right now.  shouldn't you take out a tower and add a long sword though? 6 damage for 1 quanta is great

when i was messing around a similar deck on the trainer a few days ago I actually beat the first 2 false gods I played (hermes and ferox).  So yeah its not a FG deck by any stretch, but against decks without too much creature control, it can actually win sometimes and is very fast when it does. and its funny to see it work :P

Lol you beat Ferox. That's an achievement considering that Ferox's deck is also a rush like this one. Good job on that.

Hermes probably was pure luck, just because Hermes' deck is full of creature control and is supposed to be a fast killer.

lol yeah the hermes was definitely just luck. i wonder if this deck could consistently out-rush ferox? it might depend on if he/she (do FG's have genders?) got any bonds out (i dont think there were any out in my game)

I doubt it. Ferox has both healing and double your hp, so probably not.

Even though this is an older design, this deck still rocks hard.

Funny variation.

Maybe I should buy another elite shrieker to try it.  :P

Shards aren't overpowered, as long as you have them yourself.
