The general idea of Gnomes Ahoy is to pump out the gnomes as soon as you can. After that, the pillars/pendulums/gnomes combined should provide enough quantum for both Earth and Time to get twelve shriekers out onto the field in no time: That is, if you haven't won yet.
I personally added in two Shards of Gratitude for potential EM, but that isn't necessary.
