The tower/cost ratio looks a bit off to me. It's only 12 pillars with 8! high cost attackers and an expensive shield.

It is hard enough to get quants with cheap units. Can you afford to play stone skin here? It seems to me you would be struggling for quants to get the shriekers and the dragons out. I would replace 4 attackers with golems at least to cut the costs down.
Shards aren't overpowered, as long as you have them yourself.

Have you atleast tried this deck yet? If not, try it.

778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 779 779 779 779 779 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77h 77h 77h 77j 77j 77j 77j
Your rhetorics fail to convince. Some results:

Game 1: Upon Card 13, Won, 2 dead dragons in the hand, 1 shrieker in the hand. Shield and Stone skin no use
Game 2: Card 14, Won, 1 dragon dead in the hand, shield used but not needed. Stone skin no use
Game 3: Card 10: Won, Shield used but not needed. Stone skin no use. All units played but only 4!!
Game 4: Card 10: Won, Shield used twice and stolen! 2 elite shriekers dead in the hand. No use for stone skin.
Game 5: Card 11, won, Shield used and only 3 creatures used, so nothing in the hand. No use for stone skin.

I could go on... BUT: Results of ultimate ultimate mono earth rush quake:

Game 1: Card 16, Won, 6 creatures out and nothing dead in the hand.
Game 2: Card 17, Won, 7 creatures out and nothing dead in the hand.
Game 3: Card 17: Won, 5 creatures out and nothing dead in the hand.
Game 4: Card 16: Won, 5 creatures out and nothing dead in the hand.
Game 5: Card 18, won, 5 creatures out and nothing dead in the hand.

Cheaper and also faster.

Shards aren't overpowered, as long as you have them yourself.
