Yeah that's right. I don't class your Graboids as mono. And with that i decided to make an actual mono :D

Ok. So first of all, your cards are very expensive to play and apart from adding more towers and taking out a dragon or golem, there isn't much you can do.

The good thing is that once you have your creatures down. They have a high amount of hp/can burrow and will be very difficult to take down (one fire storm will not take anything down, after this you can burrow your Shriekers and your big guys should be fine.)

I havn't had much time to test this. And i know it isn't the best mono deck, but i think earth deserves something other than Graboids. This would probably work un-upped, but even with the towers you'll find your self short on quanta quite a lot.

Constructive critism is appreciated.

Um, why the hate on graboids? It's an okay deck, but graboids ARE earth.

At least last I checked.

Did you forget about Elite Antlions? Those things are very hard to kill, are cheap, and dish out some serious pain.

gnome gemfinders might come in handy in those early turns when you need quanta for the bigger creatures, IMHO i'd replace the golems with those. Good job :o
So, tell me my friend, what can you see? What comes into your mind as you breathe?
'cause I see colors flourishing like you'd never believe... like a pendulum swings, they swing with me!

I don't hate graboids, in fact i used them a lot when farming top 50. But they are not strictly mono as they use time to evolve and i wanted to make a 100% mono (besides gravel, which is always going to take earth quanta anyway)

Antlions could make a very good substitute for Steel Golems i guess, but i like to try and lure AI attacks onto the golem, something i cannot really do with an antlion. Not to mention if a fire shield or the new thorn shield appears, your golem is gonna last a lot longer. It's all down to personal preference i guess and i will try antlions out and see if there is much improvment.

Gnome gemfinders... Ehh, i see where you're coming from as this deck is quanta starved. But i think that they're far too brittle, the damage is almost irrelivent (especially if they have shields such as permafrost) and an additional tower would be a far sturdier and generally better way of quanta generation.

Thanks for the comments guys! Keep 'em coming!

Based on the "mono" deck definition, a deck using graboids and time mark IS 100% mono.

But it doesn't really matter. Overall, pretty good deck, but like jmizzle suggested I would replace the golems for antlions for pvp since they cost much less, do only one less damage, and can be burrowed (though you don't really want to). Especially since pvp players aren't stupid enough to target the golems.

Antlions are very close to Life's Giant Frog, which is the best Damage:Cost ratio for a single creature card (Not counting sparks, since your Frog will do the same damage over and over). Antlions simply have 1 less damage and 1 more hp, with the addition of Burrow.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

I protest. That would be Ray of Light or Photon if Spark is barred.

Although I love Elite Antlions myself. I find them much better than Golems in mono-Earth.

Since the deck is so  quantum starved Id ditch some shriekers and go for more golems. I truly appreciate these burly fellows. But whats more is I notice theres no PAs. If you get that diamond shield stolen it wont be fun :(
I decided to "drop" back in

Sheno, i doubt this would work unupped, the quanta generated by those pillars is what gives the deck the ability to rush in with guns blazing, without them it would be an extremely slow start.

-2 Basalt Dragon +2 Steel Golem and the deck works better.
