I've been experimenting with the Dune Scorpions as well and – without knowing this topique – I've ended up with a similar deck.

It's more streamlined; lacks Hourglasses and multiple Eternities but, it's way less quanta dependent. The hard counter is obviously Momentum. Explosion, Steal and Purify can give you hard times but in certain cases, they can be survived. It's the strongest against Fake Gods rely on multiple draws.
Don't play a Scorpion before you can Shard it,
unless the enemy is already poisoned and you want to "provoke" him/her to use a card against a harmless creature (to increase the poison). Eternity can help against certain Gods but, in many cases it won't turn the tide. Use it against a Momentum-ed creature or, if you have no idea but quanta surplus, against anything to slow down the opponent deck. Shield-spam timing depends on the Fake God you fight against. Avoid to be poisoned as soon as you can. If the opponent has Steals or Explosions start Shielding when you can stil survive 1–2 turns. If the Eternity doesn't help a lot play it along with a Shield and in most cases, the AI will destroy that one instead of the Shield.
Un-upgraded deck is not tested however, the upgrade priority seems to be the following (from most to least): Towers (Pendulums) – Shields – Shards – Eternity – Scorpions.
UPDATE:Previous stats were removed.
They shown very few matches and included highly speculative thoughts about certain Fake Gods.
