Use nightmare on their creatures, there is no way they will be able to play every signle Lava Destoryer or whatever card.
Personally I think it's better to stick your cards in their hand, because chances are they will never leave the hand (except discard).

They usually get stuck with my pest unless they are darkness or rainbow in which case they get a shrieker or 5. :)

Nw that I have more upped Time cards, I need to make a trio version that utilizes dark, earth, time for uber denial against decks that eq can't shut down.

Revisiting this deck, does anyone have a suggestion to help take out supernova/cremeation decks.  I can shut down normal decks quick usually, but I have no chance against decks with extra quanta generation outside of pillars.  Sadly earth/dark does not give a great deal of CC options.

I have a feeling to get what I want, I will either need a trio (gravity added) and/or expand the deck to closer to 40 card with steals, BB, SoG, etc which may ruin what the deck is currently good at.
I'm currently using a completely un-upgraded version of this deck. It's a little slower, and requires a little more luck, but I've modified it to my liking, and it seems to fit your criteria as well. I've added an Auburn Nymph (though 2 would probably be more useful), as a means of creature control, just in case a few creatures slip through in the beginning or every once in awhile. There's already a load of Stone Pillars to generate Quanta to use its ability. As for permanents, I added two Steals. After playing the Devourers, there's plenty of Dark Quanta to spare, so the Steals can be used to "destroy" any weapons or shields the opponent might play. Hope this helps?

I faced it using a destroyer rush.
I would have rage quited, except they had no stone pillars in the first 12 draws. So they insited on giving me a handfull of pests 3 times. I used them to suck up what little quanta he had left :P

Where did you play it, PvP2?

That sounds like an epicly terrible draw, lol.  It should have atleast 1 Tower on the first turn.

Yes, it was. I think all his pillars had been shuffled to the bottom.
With this deck I've only had that in reverse, with all my towers on top (on 2 occasions), which is no fun either.

heh...first post :P...what a strange place...

Anyways...when i look at this...there is a problem. The deck is quite slow, and is focused on quanta denial. You need something that a) can act as a 2nd plan...(although i'm fairly confident that it will work...you are going to lose some games because you didn't draw earthquate/ apporate mana-deni spell)
I suggest a steal, just in case they get something you can't deal with...and maybe nightfall, to give devourers attack power
try that
 ;D
gl m8 on the deck

The basic idea is: 1st) quicksand to destroy their pillars and stop quanta production, 2nd) pests to suck up remaining quanta, 3rd) nightmare to prevent draw and further cut of their options, and 5th) Shriekers to decimate them while they are helples.
Where is 4th? And I spy a typo.
