Water/Light: Nymph Rush https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=3102.msg26437#msg26437

The idea with this was to make a deck that uses light nymphs effectively. I found one. Even though it IS semi effective, it's really more of a novelty deck.

First, notice that light nymphs are 9/9. With a nymph queen, you can make one for 4 water (and a light tower). And if you get a nymph queen out early, you are (ideally) making 1 8/8 creature per turn. And then if you get low on health (you probably won't) you'll likely have the 12 light needed to cast a miracle.

This version is good for AI 3 (and alright at T50), but again, it's more for fun. Unupgraded I would probably take the miracles out and add in 2 more water pillars, but then it's still just for AI3.

Then I decided to make a pvp version, and came up with this.

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gn 7gn 7gn 7gn 7gn 7gn 7h0 7h0 7h0 7h0 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7k2 7k2 8pp

*Alternatively, sub 2-3 congeals for arctic octopi.

This would theoretically work better in pvp.

/** NEWBIE NOTE **\
This deck, unupgraded, can be made FROM THE START and is an effective AI 3 farmer. It is not quite as effective as the earth/time shrieker spam AI3 farmer, but it holds its own and has the great asset of being able to be made right off the bat.

First, choose water as your element.
Take out and sell the following:

-1x Ice Dragon
-1x Blessing
-1x Ice Shield
-1x Pegasus
-2x Blue Crawler
-4x Ice Bolt

Your deck should now have 30 cards and you should have 393 coins.
Now, buy the following:

-5x Nymph's Tears
-4x Light Pillar
-1x Sapphire Pillar

You should now have 53 coins.
Now, put the tears and pillars in your deck and take out and sell (if you want to) the following:

-2x Chrysora
-2x Photon
-1x Holy Light
-1x Purify
-1x Dagger

You should have 169 coins to get you off on your feet now :).

Lastly, take out the following:

-3x Quantum Pillars (don't sell, you'll want them later. Even though they only cost 4.)

You now have your AI 3 farmer!

How to play it: Freeze either high attack creatures or a creature that's threatening to your nymph queen. You NEED TO KNOW that the AI will target your white nymphs over your nymph queen, so once you have some white nymphs established you shouldn't worry about it and just freeze high attack creatures.

I reset my noob account and made the nooby version of this deck and slaughtered a few people on Kong, and I had a score of 0, lol. They were sooooooo disappointed. XD It works surprisingly well, since it can literally pump out a huge creature each turn.

All in all, it's quite fun, but I did have a couple close calls, and I lost one game. o-o

I was about to try a similar deck only with aether nymphs instead of light ones. If I remember correctly they also have a 9 attack rating and you'll have a board of immortal creatures.

Upped is 8 attack, and that is also a very viable option, you could also pack a few quints to go on the early queen and first nymph. That deck would likely do better in PvP, substituting the congeals for lightnings and the Miracles for dim shields.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

Do Light Nymphs themselves generate Light?

No, they don't, but it doesn't matter. You get enough Light quantum just from the pillars for at least one Miracle.

Procrastination slows it down, but you usually aren't bothered too much by rewind; you can usually replay at least one light nymph and the nymph queen is easy to replay.

And yes, using those aether nymphs is a good choice too, but since they only have 2 health the turn you make them and can't be immortalized, they're easy targets for that turn at least.

But aether nymphs still could be better. I was just trying to find a use for light nymphs. Aether nymphs are already useful.
