I was speaking in the hypothetical. Hence the sentence beginning with "And if you had". You're taking my phrase way out of context, and you're twisting its meaning, probably accidentally. Yes, six is good, for what the current card pool has to offer. But usually you can do at least a little better than good with a "duo-deck". I was pointing out that it's shame you really can't do much more than use four or five different cards in the deck.
It's a non-upgraded deck. It's specifically made as a cheap, accessible deck for fighting weaker opponents, or for use in PvP 1. Obviously, it would be good to get one copy of Freeze in your opening hand...in some cases. That being said, it's pretty far from a necessity, least of all universally. In the best possible card order, you get zero copies of Freeze in the first hand, regardless of any special circumstances. Consider that Skull Shield will almost always prevent more damage overall than Freeze (against the kind of opponents you'll use this deck against), and that you can usually play it on your second turn, whereas you'd have to waste your one water quantum on Freeze rather than Chrysaora if you wanted to play Freeze on the second turn. Doing so is usually suicidal, because they'll be unfrozen with a decently sized army to back them up by the time you get a decent amount of poison out. And you're leaving out the several downsides to having six copies of Freeze -- Mostly that you'll end up with a slow hand at best, with the usage of Freeze being fairly situational. Cheap as the cards may be, almost half of your deck is an element that you have no towers for.
It's kind of silly to thank him for "coming to your defense", because it...isn't really your deck idea. That's one of the oldest decks in existence, and it's one of the most common recipes for that deck, if not the most common, to the letter. Besides, he very well may have been simply correcting me, as opposed to defending "your deck".
And if either of you desperately wants to continue this stupid and pointless "argument", then you should send me a personal message instead of posting any more replies here. You'd just be wasting forum space, and making potentially intelligent people think that this thread actually has anything new worth reading about or viewing...which it absolutely does not.
