Rain of fire wouldn't destroy it.  It would damage it.

Besides, Morning glory CAN be destroyed by a fire shield.

In Magic the Gathering spells like Rain of Fire do hit untargetable creatures.  It's just the rules of this game.

well fire shield originally didn't. zanz changed it to BALANCE, something you need in a game.

So if it's untargetable, then why can you hit it with flying weapon?

Neither rain of fire nor flying weapon target it, neither card steals or destroys it, but one of them works and the other doesn't.  What gives?

well fire shield originally didn't. zanz changed it to BALANCE, something you need in a game.
How about the imbalance of flying weapon that it can target untargetable cards?  Bearing in mind that targeting the weapon slot isn't a loophole, as rain of fire doesn't target it and yet rain of fire doesn't work.

I Think so. But that may be because enchant artifact says it does not work on creatures.

Also, just because vamp daggers deck beats a morning glory deck, doesn't mean it is better. For example, Divine glory beats rainbow alot of the times, but that does not mean Divine Glory is better than Rainbow

But vampire dagger consistently beats a deck with the exact same theme.  Plus, morning glory has 200 health, double draw, and triple mark, meaning all the scales were against the dagger but it won out anyway.
