So mono aether is great and all, but it fails to two things:
---Pillar denial
---Permanent control
(and depending on the deck, it may not have that much damage).

This deck is supposed to remedy those two faults. Basically you play your towers and if the opponent went first and they have earth towers you only play 1. If you go first and they have time mark you may want to play it safe and only use one anyway. This way next turn you can protect your towers and they can't deny you pillars. Then you're pretty much home free.

Or, if they have fire, darkness, or earth and gravity quantum, you protect your shields when you play them. This way they can't get around them.

Against FGs, it actually has a pretty good chance against Hermes, Rainbow, Seism, and (theoretically) Divine Glory. In addition to the normal FGs that can be beat by mono aether (Destiny, Paradox, Miracle, Incarnate). But it's harder to keep Rainbow, Miracle, and Paradox from miracling. You basically want to try and whittle them down to about 40 hp with a single dragon (maybe 2) and then finish them off by playing the rest all at once. Still though, the deck is mostly for pvp and I'm not recommending this as an upgraded FG farmer simply because there are better options. It's just fun for a change up when your normal farmer is sucking.

Obviously it loses to decks with massive healing (that are bigger than you). Also you may not be lucky enough and have to break the chain of PAd shields.

I'm pretty sure I've seen this deck posted before... I remember saying something to the effect of, "nothing spectacular, just mono aether with PA thrown in." But I'm rather prone to false memories...

No, Jmizzle, it was just a deck post, not a anti-fg post.

I like this deck because I really feel invincable when I play. Everything I play has that yellow time sign on the bottom right, and cards like Steal, Deflagration, and Rain of Fire are useless. I added a lobotomizer, which I can also PA.

EDIT: Why are the pictures I upload always so small?
because screenshotdumpster assigns the image a width and height in the code that you copied.

either take the direct link:
http://www.screenshotdumpster.com/m7Gbd54507/Aether_Earth_thumb.jpg
and put it between the image tags

or just take out the width and height attributes.

Rather annoying deck, even if I have used it myself to great effect.  Why no Lobo?

EDIT: Why is my picture so small. I can never make it big enough even though I set it to the biggest.
When uploading (on the screenshot dumpster site), tick the "no thumbnail?" checkbox under "additional options".
For already uploaded images, follow the link, right-click the big image, click "copy image location" (or something like that), replace the url in between the img tags with that and remove any width/height specs.

This is a very impressive deck.  It is one of the few decks that, if drawing randomness wasn't taken into consideration(extreme bad luck), is able to execute its game plan consistently.

The deck has a goal, and very few external forces have the capability of thwarting those goals (whether the deck wins or not).
-Shields don't count as successfully thwarting the goal of the deck because the deck gets to do what it wants to do, whether the damage goes through is another story.
-Pest and black hole on the other hand, can thwart this deck.

Rather annoying deck, even if I have used it myself to great effect.  Why no Lobo?
Why lobo?  Whatever a creature has that needs to be loboed doesnt matter.
example:
-lobo an oty?  What will it eat?
-lobo a druid? what will it mutate? if it mutates a skelly and turns it into a 25/25 dragon, who cares.  6 Dim shields = 18 turns of no damage.  30- initial 7 cards = 23.  23-18 = 4 turns of actually getting hit.  no many turns
-lobo a FFQ, who cares if it make FFs :P
The only thing to lobo is a gravity Nymph. :o
