Wow! That would be a lot better, but wings doesn't block weapons, dragons, or any air type creatures. I guess it's the same though with the dimensional shield not blocking spell damage.

'Tis true. There are advantages to wings and advantages to dim shield. It's all up to your preference. I for one think that adding another element to the mix here will just complicate things most of the time Besides, owl's eye can kill any flying creatures that wings can't stop  ;D

You have a point... Well, then you should probably switch in some animate weapons so you can play more than one of them.

The aether part of this deck is totally unnecessary. You can just completely remove the dimensional shields and just have wings. Reasoning: Wings lasts 5 turns and blocks the vast majority of damage.

I threw this together really quick. It's obviously not optimal, but you get the picture. You need other sources of damage if you want to win, and CC is never bad. Therefore, flying owl's eye.

11 pillars are not enough for all that  :air quanta this deck needs, you need to exchange some stuff for more pillars

I used Elbirn's variation against AI3 a few times, and it worked pretty well. There weren't any problems with quanta, and Pulverizers didn't stop the deck from winning. The Owl's Eyes definitely helped bring the opponent's HP down so I didn't need to use all the UGs.

If you want to keep the aether part, I put together this deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61q 61q 61q 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 624 624 8po

There were too many aether pillars in the original, so I replaced them and the two wings with silences and lightnings. This way, you can get rid of annoying creatures, and play a silence along with 5 UGs so the opponent can't destroy them during the turn before they're ignited. I would probably suggest using Elbirn's deck though.

For that, I would suggest -3 Wings -1 Unstable Gas +4 Wind Pillar.  You really want at least 3 opening hand Pillars with a 4th early (if not opening hand) Pillar to fuel all the :air required to operate this deck.

My suggestion, along these lines, ends up with this:

I think you need the last UG in case the opponent heals themselves or one gets destroyed. Maybe something like -2 Wings +2 Wind Pillar would be better. When I tested it, the :air wasn't that much of a problem.

No, I need that many to get the dimensional shields up in time for rush decks. I think the lightning is a good addition though.

You could get rid of one Lightning and one Silence and replace them with pillars, but I would suggest keeping at least one Silence. A rush deck probably won't be able to destroy a UG, but it's good to have it just in case. I think an extra turn or two won't hurt that much when you're facing a rush. It's your deck though, you can do whatever you want with it.
