While leaving them unupgraded isn't bad, upgraded isn't worse either.

In the early game (actually, most of the game) you may only have enough quanta to fly an EE with the fire quanta and it taking the air quanta delays you a turn. And I've never really felt restricted by my amount of fire.

Lol, BurnOne. Octane was actually based on this very deck so perhaps you should call Octane "Unstable Eagles Style" instead.

Air nymph might not be a good idea, since air quantum is already tight due to sniping costs and unstable gas. What I do with my Air Nymph is take out the explosions and add in 4 more air towers and the nymph. And sometimes replace 1 Animate and 1 EE with 2 Sky Dragons.
