Amesjay's 18 Card Deck https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=6162.msg63224#msg63224

Hey,

So this is my first deck that I'm really just showing hope you guys like it.
Not sure if this counts as mono light since only uses time mark for some cards but move it if you want.
So anyway here's my 18 card deck.

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jq 7jq 7jq 7ju 7ju 7ju 7k0 7k1 7qb 7qb 7qb 7qb 7qb 7qb 8ps

Okay so the precognitions and the sundials can be played with your mark. Precogs pretty much mean 1 time to look at hand cause you pick up another card. Sundials pay 1 time and 1 light to stall for 1 turn and draw 1 card so this is really 18 cards.

Now the way to play is to use precogs to draw through your deck as quickly as possible. Play sundials when they have a few creatues that seem threatening and to use time to build up quanta you can chain them easily with the mark. Then play as many creatures as possible in 1 turn hopefully doing around 30-40 damage. Just make sure not to draw to many cards when on low cards.

So anyways this deck is extremely small so really you will not be prone to bad draws the reason the sundials aren't upped is cause you will need light quanta to play creatures and having 12 time cards is okay since you generate 1 time per turn and should have enough to play them all. The reason there are 3 angels and 3 dragons are cause there are 10 towers and 1 angel and 1 dragon average out to 10 quanta per turn so you should be able to play them fast enough. Tried with all angels but too much quanta and all dragons but too little quanta so this is a good balance.

You don't really need to upgrade too much of this deck to play except for the precogs and the angels the dragons should be okay as well as the towers. This deck beats Ai 3 with ease and can take on most Top50 as well. Tried against a few half-bloods (Ai 5) and can win so far about 20-30% but haven't tested much and will continue testing.

Just like some feedback on whether you think this deck can work and how you think I can improve it Thanks.

Also

some tips:

use precogs to see whether it is safe for creatures to come out straight away otherwise just get ready to play them all at once.

sundials still allow morning glory to hit for 8 each turn.

Pros:

-All weapons and shields are immaterial so can't really lose too much
-Large creatures that can't easily be taken down by Oytughs or RoF
-can easily survive to fire lance decks because of the shield

Cons:

-Will lose to quantum denial
-very defensive/stalling decks will cause you to deck out quite easily generally

I'd definitely add a single miracle. With your fast drawing deck you should draw it in time in most cases so I guess 2 would be too much, but a single one will often save your life.

I also tried a variant like this:
Code: [Select]
5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7k0 7k1 7k1 7k1 7k1 7k2 7n2 7n2 7n2 7qb 7qb 7qb 7qb 7qb 7qbGlories are cheap and untargetable and also you will often draw them early so you can deal quite a bit of damage while stalling with those sundials.
May the force of the D4HK side be with U ^_^

Yeah that variation looks quite playable
and the miracle could help quite a bit maybe even add a holy light and try to get that mastery if possible.

Not anymore. It's a new update, I think.
