Lycanthrope Surprise Party! [Un-upped] [Entropy/Dark!] https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=30869.msg392365#msg392365

Thought Lycans only belonged in rainbow decks? Think again.

Disclaimer: This deck has not been thoroughly tested, but I can tell it has much potential.

The idea behind this deck is to start off by denying the opponent with  :darkness Devourers and  :entropy Discord by turn 2/3, throw up a  :darkness Cloak to protect your weak first-turn  :entropy Lycanthropes from CC, and throw a surprise party when the opponent sees multiple  :entropy Lycanthropes and  :darkness Devourers after the  :darkness Cloak wears off.

:darkness Steals are for PC, :entropy Antimatter is for CC, and the Pendulums are  :darkness Darkness :darkness because it's ideal to have  :darkness Devourers up and running before your opponent has quanta to spare on CC.

The first version of the deck is obsolete. The second version is now the main deck.

Any and all criticisms and ideas are welcome!  This is the first deck I've ever posted on the forums so it's surely not perfect.

This is another deck that works just as well as the first version for those who either dislike Dusk Mantles or Antimatters.  This version of the deck uses  :darkness Drain Life and  :entropy Dissipation Shield to make use of all that extra quanta you'll have after devouring your opponent.

The low amount of pendulums is for two reasons: 1. 6 Devourers. 2.  No entropy card costs any more than 2-3  :entropy  quanta.  Please try the deck before saying things like "it's lacking quanta."

You can probably deal without the cloaks, with only 2 the chances are pretty slim to actually be there or your lycans. Also you are probably going to find yourself swimming in darkness quanta, maybe replace those 2 cloaks with 2 dragons? or if you like CC, siphon lifes.

What if I do something like -2 Antimatter, +2 Cloak in the deck's first versionFor the second version I could do -2 Steal +2 Cloak.

Also, I could simply do -1 Devourer -1 Pendulum +2 Cloak.

Otherwise i could do -1 Dusk Mantle -1 Devourer in the first deck and -1 Devourer -1 Steal in the second deck and exchange them for 2 cloaks each.

Or if you feel there should only be slightly more cloaks, you could do -1 Devourer +1 Cloak for both versions.

Ideas? Thoughts? Thanks.

i think that this deck would be better by removing the cloaks from your second deck and adding in two vamps

The low amount of pendulums is for two reasons: 1. 6 Devourers. 2. (In the 2nd deck) No entropy card costs any more than 2-3  :entropy quanta.

I believe the first version of the deck is fairly obsolete.

Looks like you have plenty of quanta, really.  24 entropy quanta is used in the deck and you have 8 pendulums + mark = 4 entropy pillars + mark = 8 entropy pillars = quanta index of 3, for entropy.

34 dark quanta is used in the deck and you have the equivalent of 4 dark pillars + 6 devourers, for a dark quanta index of a little over 3.

Those are both quite low quanta indexes which means your deck has plenty of quanta.

I am dubious about dissipation shield in a duo deck though.  It's a lot less effective than it would be in mono entropy.  Same goes for drain life.

I'd go with -2 diss shield, +1 pend, + another cloak or discord.

The shields do seem a little unnecessary to me. Perhaps a chaos seed for some cheap cc or chaos power for a damage boost?
