This is a duel deck of
and
! This deck is called Sword and Shield because the Voodoos can either act as a major assault when equipped with acceleration, or as a shield when equipped with gravity pull. This is a new deck I made and is completely me-derived. I would suggest using it to dominate AI3 and win most AI4. I'd personally suggest switching out 3 obsidian pillars for 3 dark pendulums to provide small protection from earthquakes, but it really doesn't matter.
This deck has a pretty solid strategy to it:
THE STRATEGY:
Steps:1) play voodoo doll as soon as possible, unless you can play vamp stiletto instead.
2) Accelerate Voodoo doll
3) Save and play dusk mantle if possible
4) Gravity pull any powerful brute-force opponents, or a spare Voodoo if wanted
Tips:-usually do NOT gravity pull a voodoo doll you have accelerated
-steal any harmful weps or shields that come into play, even if that means sacrificing one of your permenants.
-Use dusk mantle ASAP. Even if you have to save to play.
-acceleration can be used as an alternative lobotomize on enemies (very helpful).
~~COSTS~~
36 electrum for the 5 gravity pillars
52 electrum for the 2 gravity pulls
135 electrum for the 5 accelerations
36 electrum for the 6 obsidian pillars
120 electrum for the 2 dusk mantles
116 electrum for the 2 steals
336 electrum for the 6 voodoo dolls
Total Cost: 831 electrum for the entire deck (except vampire stiletto)
The Vampire Stiletto is impossible to buy at this time (and im pretty sure forever), and you can only get it through slots and tournaments. It is however sort of neccesary in this deck.
PROS-Pretty good deck
-Really cheap to buy
-Materials are quite common in the spins (besides vampire stiletto)
-Good vs most deck types
-Relatively fun
-Makes creature damagers detrimental to the opponent
-Gravity pull can be used to defend your life while damaging your opponent's, or to destroy a pesky enemy creature
CONS-Sometimes the pillars don't come fast enough and you get screwed over from the start
-Quanta denial is just terrible against this deck
-Lobotomize just decimates against this deck as well.
