This is a duel deck of :darkness and :gravity! This deck is called Sword and Shield because the Voodoos can either act as a major assault when equipped with acceleration, or as a shield when equipped with gravity pull. This is a new deck I made and is completely me-derived. I would suggest using it to dominate AI3 and win most AI4. I'd personally suggest switching out 3 obsidian pillars for 3 dark pendulums to provide small protection from earthquakes, but it really doesn't matter.

This deck has a pretty solid strategy to it:

THE STRATEGY:

Steps:
1) play voodoo doll as soon as possible, unless you can play vamp stiletto instead.
2) Accelerate Voodoo doll
3) Save and play dusk mantle if possible
4) Gravity pull any powerful brute-force opponents, or a spare Voodoo if wanted

Tips:
-usually do NOT gravity pull a voodoo doll you have accelerated
-steal any harmful weps or shields that come into play, even if that means sacrificing one of your permenants.
-Use dusk mantle ASAP. Even if you have to save to play.
-acceleration can be used as an alternative lobotomize on enemies (very helpful).

~~COSTS~~
36 electrum for the 5 gravity pillars
52 electrum for the 2 gravity pulls
135 electrum for the 5 accelerations
36 electrum for the 6 obsidian pillars
120 electrum for the 2 dusk mantles
116 electrum for the 2 steals
336 electrum for the 6 voodoo dolls
Total Cost: 831 electrum for the entire deck (except vampire stiletto)

The Vampire Stiletto is impossible to buy at this time (and im pretty sure forever), and you can only get it through slots and tournaments. It is however sort of neccesary in this deck.

PROS

-Pretty good deck

-Really cheap to buy

-Materials are quite common in the spins (besides vampire stiletto)

-Good vs most deck types

-Relatively fun

-Makes creature damagers detrimental to the opponent  :D

-Gravity pull can be used to defend your life while damaging your opponent's, or to destroy a pesky enemy creature

CONS

-Sometimes the pillars don't come fast enough and you get screwed over from the start

-Quanta denial is just terrible against this deck

-Lobotomize just decimates against this deck as well.

My grading system on decks is as follows:
I grade the decks out of five matches per level. This is a small amount of trials, so rough results.
Level for AI it is best suited against. Typically A+ in every level below it as well.
Letter for wins out of 5 it gets. A+=5/5 A=4/5 B=3/5 C=2/5 D=1/5 F=0/5

First of all, the cost of an unupped deck is NEVER a problem or issue to see, so it doesn't count as an advantage (as there are unupped FG grinders where you get 1K electrum per card won).

As for the quanta, why don't you use pendulums? You need both  :darkness and  :gravity so it seems a good practice to replace all the pillars for pendulums. Which mark and what pends? matter if taste, I guess.

This deck may be better with only pendulums, but I had a small trauma when a quanta denier destroyed my entire stack and left me with a bunch of accelerations that i could not play. You could most definitely switch them out for all pendulums, but i personally don't like using only one type of pillar/pendilum in a deck.

i will try this deck with some pends and upped and post some stats.

stats against AI3:
W/L = 9/1
TTW: 11,7 (not the fastest to rush AI3, even knowing i used some upped cards to speed up)

I'd remove the Stiletto and one of the Shields and add a Steal and a Drain Life instead. You can steal a weapon and a shield later after all.
I'd also switch the mark to Gravity (all the  :gravity cards are cheap here) and use Obsidian Towers and perhaps some Pendulums. Also, I'd change a Doll to a Liquid Shadow for healing (nice after the Acceleration).

The main counter is not quanta denial, in my opinion. It's Rewind.

Nevertheless, your deck seems to be cool. ^_^

Fully upped OP version - [Not sure if Pendulums might actually slow this down] Still testing. 10 wins 0 losses 1 EM  10 gamesvs ai3.

7ttw 59secs EM vs Dark/Entropy ai3 Pandemonium helped, stealing a stiletto early on gave EM.

7ttw 51secs  vs Time/Gravy ai3 Easy. clean, Accelerated.

11ttw 79secs vs Dark/Entropy ai3 Pandemonium locked us both down but eventually Acceleration + damage from pandes just finished him. 4 Gravy Tower 1 Darkness Tower start, only drew Ducks and daggers early.

10ttw 79secs vs Earth/Gravy ai3 RNG <3'd me. 0 Damage, only Earthquakes and Stone Skin were drawn along with pillars and pendulums. I didn't draw more than 1 Darkness Tower [which came late] but that was all I needed.

8ttw 65secs vs Life/Air ai3 Stole a Bond, Accelerated through and won ez pz.

13ttw 105secs vs Time/Light ai3 RT on 3 early accelerated dolls left me with only 1 tactic left, to stall for 2 more with a Steal on his Procrastination as soon as it came out. This saved me as I was going to die the turn after I won this game.

10ttw 85secs vs Time/Light ai3 I held onto my cards this game, letting an early Dagger deal damage through most of the game, ending with 55HP Left and only 12 poison counters. Stole Procrastination again, although it came out late, was really just a move that cost me 1 more damage rather than saving me from damage.

12ttw 94secs vs Time/Life/Gravy ai3 I healed early on with a stolen Staff while he slowly got out Hourglasses followed by Pharaohs/Scarabs. Late Dolls and Accelerates, but I won easily, and had 88HP at the end.

9ttw 88secs vs Mono Aether ai3 Who needs to worry about Shields and Weapons when you steal both of them? (:

10ttw 95secs vs Air/Light ai3 ...I kinda forgot to worry about Crusaders and played Dagger anyways... Interesting turnout.

Also, I'd change a Doll to a Liquid Shadow for healing (nice after the Acceleration).

if you let the doll accelerate he loses a lot of life points, then posion(LS) it makes the doll loses even more hp. so healing wont last long.

you could use healing if you add light(guardian angel for healing the dolls) in the deck, but then is it a whole other deck(trio element).

Dolls have 16 health, 20 upped, it will last far past long enough. 6 turns gets it in range of being double lightning'd however, then it has 12 attack. And 12 turns isn't exactly a slouch when it comes to healing.
