Great deck, SnoWeb. I think it would help if you included the following information in the first post:
- Upgrade order (it's fairly obvious, but someone might not get it)
- Which, if any, False Gods this deck works against. I think it might be a viable counter to some.

The only thing I would say is that the deck does sometimes just feel too slow. By the time I can grow my otys and gain enough damage, I find I'm frequently having my SoPas stolen or destroyed or my SoFos and otys lobotomized, etc. Of course, no deck can win all the time, especially in plat or gold. I think perhaps if I gave it more time, I'd find my wins/losses to be a bit more equal.

About the lobotomizing, I try to get my Otys out to eat any flayers and my SoFo's to destroy any lobotomizers, before they are played. Works well most of the time. I think the biggest problem of the deck are really fast rushes (a simple gravity rush destroys it, for example), flying Titans, immaterial creatures and RT. Antimatter and BW are annoying too.

-I added in grav salvagers
-purposely left in some unupped pillars and pendulums.
-I also run the grav nymphs directly instead of using tears.
-Add in 1 chimera just in case (and because I love dealing 200+ damage in a single attack )
With those modifications, the deck holds up much better under EQ and PC heavy arena decks.
Although there is a very slight speed drop on setup when that isn't needed, I've been having much more success overall since arena seems to have a lot of PC and EQ these days.
Anyone care to collect stats to compare?

I have been using this mod first (with nymphs tears actually but 2 salvagers 1chimera and 1extra SoP) when I saw this thread; yes it performs better against eq based decks and salvagers also serve as bait for early CC. However in Platinum arenas the speed drop is way more significant than you think. I dont have actual stats, but I can tell you that the win ratio of this mod is lower than that of the original in Platinum. However it is a different story, if you use this in silver or PVP; there this mod should be stronger.
Also purposefully using unupped pillars isnt worth it; the fact that you gain an extra quanta for playing a salvaged tower should be enough to fuel your quanta.

I already have PDial, but recently it isn't working well in Plat (nor gold to tell the truth). I have most of this, I only lack 1 Purify (which I won't bother upgrading) and all of the pillars and pendulums.
My question is: is it worth it?
Given that Arena will stay as it is even with Elements 1.4, this could be a deck I could use even after that but I'm saving money for the NPCs, because there could be a meta shift so big that even decks like Poison Dial could be totally useless. I'm then saving those money to up a good deck that could work well in case I get some trouble. I've got 45k, now, but upping all of this will cost me 18k, a lot, leaving me with "only" 27k. Even though I can farm FGs for money and upped cards, I wanted to play in plat for more score and because I intend to get the trainer edition as soon as possible, because with the new update it could be pretty difficult to farm.
Then, is it really worth it?

What else would you want to use the money for? Swallow is by far the best deck for plat farming I have seen, since every Platplayer knows that he has to counter Pdials, RoLhopevariants and Swallow, but swallow is by far the hardest to counter out of these, since if it gets the right cards early it can even manage to beat its few counters, because it has counter measures to everything (hell I could even beat a swallow version (it added salvagers and probably increased the #of otyughs and SoFos) with double draw and triple mark with my normal version.
Its win rate should be at least 45% and it is quite resistant to meta shifts. It also works great in PVP. However if you want to stick to FGfarming, barely anything beats Pdials in win rate, so in that case it wouldnt really matter what you upgrade as long as its not farmable from FGs.

The deck is now listed in the Community-recommended Decks » Gold and Platinum Arenas. I think it deserve it. I'd swap the pestal for refraction index but the list is pretty good now.
