Super Ragequit Shutdown Deck! https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=8244.msg93898#msg93898

I was playing a match today against a quantum denial deck with a gravity nymph, and i realized just HOW ANNOYING they can be (even though i decked him out lol). But I decided to make this deck as an ode to Testrunner, i tested it in t50 and went 17-3, lost to a couple mono decks, but rainbows went down like dominos.

Just some stats according to http://stattrek.com/Tables/Hypergeometric.aspx

Chances of drawing atleast one quicksand by the time you can use it : 77%
Chances of having at least 1 pillars (without auto mulligan) : 97%
With automulligan, 3 % chance to reset, then 97% chance of that 3% to get a pillar - so pretty much impossible to not get a pillar.
Chances of having atleast 3 pillars: 49%

Anyways here's the deck:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
744 744 744 744 744 744 744 744 744 744 744 745 745 745 745 745 745 74b 74b 74f 74f 74f 74f 74f 77d 77d 77f 77f 77j 77j 77j 8pm

The strategy is pretty simple :
If you're playing an entropy rainbow, make sure they don't get enough quanta for a supernova. Then get rid of their pillars ASAP. Once you get out your pulverizer, you can drop their perms and then start working on the pillars. Play otyughs with heavy armor and even lightning can't touch you. Pretty much, you'll be facing an empty field by the end of the game - works like a charm.

Throw in a protect artifact. You don't want your pulverizers stolen.
If you have an amber nymph, throw it in as well I suppose  :P

By the time you get a pulvy out its usually atleast turn 6 or 7, and your opponent shouldn't have enough quanta for a steal by that time - deflag at best. Even if they stole it, they won't have quanta to use it most likely.

Just a suggestion, although I can see what you mean.

Some variant of this would work unupgraded, but upgrades make a huge difference. For example, being able to black hole when you have 3 towers in your hand, when they win the coin toss can be hugely important. Also, you must wait another turn each time to earthquake the pillars. Also, black holes cost 4 instead, and the chances of getting 4 pillars vs 2 towers in your hand is huge, not to mention otyugh unupgraded is much less powerful. This deck is really best used upgraded.
