??? = SoW

Basic Strategy: Quint and SoW your opponents creatures and let them run against your Shield.
Especially funny when used against the AI with Blessed Peggys xD

Works pretty well against all kinds of Creature based decks, but sucks pretty bad against anything without Creatures.... like this deck :3

Aren't there too many shields ?

Theoretically yes, practically no.
Same reason as why D/BH uses 4 Discords without FW. If you don't get one early, you're in trouble.

How well does this work as an anti-FG deck? (I expect a success pattern similar to Liquid Antimatter.)

Why don't you just run Mirror Shield off of your mark?

how would you fuel the miracles?  unless you have another effective way to stall

Isn't the whole point of this deck to make you opponent unable to attack you? Maybe some SoDs or Lightnings would work if you need more stall.

At most, you can stop 6 creatures from attacking. Also, this deck relies on a 3 card combo, so it's harder to pull off. Reminds me a bit of liquid antimatter though.

I think an Aether-based (Light mark) version would make more sense because of how useful SoDs, Thunderbolt, Dimensional Shields (early in the game), and Parallel Universe are.

Given he can stop 6 creatures with SoW and 6 with Lightning this makes 12 creatures. Against 30 card decks I rarely see more
than 8 to 9 Monsters so it might work.

But personally, I'd like to have some critters on my own. So maybe I'd try a Spider Fractal deck, or as already mentioned with TU. The shields powered by Mark.
Though that would be a very different deck :)

The combo by itself requires 16 Cards, a minimum of 10 Pillars should be in the deck, so there's pretty much only place for 4 other cards. + any card for size >30.

As to FG's: this deck is pretty much a hard counter to Divine Glory, even with those 6 dead Quints.
Miracle works as well (yay for superbuffed Peggy), but any FG with Bonds or too many creatures are pretty much impossible.

I'll be adding a few more variations.

True, I didn't think much about size deck. Well with many copies also >30 card decks can work. Otherwise you might cut down one of SoF and Quint.
When I got time I might try some variations my own :)

My version (made it before seeing any of these posts) against Paradox
(http://i39.tinypic.com/4kjoqp.jpg)
yay for dejavu copies :))
first time I beat a FG this fast, easily and with only 3 mono towers.  ::)

btw, IMO 6 quints is bad unless you have creatures, 5 quints at most.
A rule of thumb I follow for combo based decks is:
If card A is useless without card B and card B is not useless without A. Then: card A < card B
In this case quint is totally useless without the shard, while the shard can be used on an already quinted-SoWed creature to add damage.
ie. 2 quints + 1 shard = dead quint, while 2 shards + 1 quint = one of the shards adds only +4 damage, worse than quint-SoWing a second target, but atleast the card is not dead.
