Snopel's Vampire Healing Surpreme!! (UNUPGRADED) https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=7670.msg85647#msg85647

Hello people! This is my first time posting a deck.. so heh... forgive me if I'm doing it wrong. ^_^;

Well I've been creating decks for quite a while and none of them seemed to work... but this one is by far my most successful! I'm pretty sure it's been done already but I would like to show you my version if it's ok with you. But let me tell you.. I'm no expert at this. So don't expect any win rates from me. =P

NOTE: Marks are variable between Darkness or Life, but I personally like the darkness mark.
Here's the unupgraded version:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5c3 5c3 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5up 5up 5uq 5uq 5ur 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 8pt

And for you rich people, here's the upgraded version:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5uq 5uq 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7aj 7aj 7an 7an 7an 7an 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t9 7t9 7tb 8pt

In case you don't understand why I left the Minor Vamps unupped, let me explain.
You see... With minor vamps, their attack is at 2. So with Adrenaline/Epinephrine, they attack 2,2,2,2 = 8 Damage altogether. And with nightfall, it becomes 3,3,3,3 = 12 damage altogether.
Now, with my experiments with a fully upgraded deck, here are my results which I actually found quite surprising!

Vampires with Nightfall / Minor Vamps with Eclipse:
NO NIGHTFALL YET = 4,3,2 = 8 Damage
NIGHTFALL IN POSITION = 5,4,2 = 11 Damage

Vampires with Eclipse:
NO ECLIPSE YET = 4,3,2 = 8 Damage
ECLIPSE IN POSITION = 6,4,2 = 12 Damage

So it's proven that vampires with eclipse do the exact same damage as minor vamps and nightfall! However, Minor vampires only cost 3 quanta. Vampires cost 5. Nightfall costs 3 while eclipse costs 4. For these reasons, I recommend you don't upgrade them, as they end up doing the same damage. =3

Ok I bet you are all waiting for the strategy... which is not hard at all.
:darkness :life First play all your pillars/towers in hand. Not hard now, was it?
:darkness If you have the quanta and cards, lay down a (Minor) Vampire BEFORE playing adrenaline/epinephrine. This is a useful strategy because the opponent might kill it and you could have wasted a useful killer card.
:life If you have a Spine/Thorn carapace in hand, DO NOT play it unless there are no adrenalines in your hand or no (Minor) vamps on the field or in hand. Always play the adrenalines first UNLESS the enemy unleashes killer monsters. That's an exception.
:darkness By all means, play that Vampire Stiletto / Daggar whenever you want. It only costs 1 or 2 quanta to use.
:darkness :life Just play everything you have now. Play steals when the foe summons weapons or shields but make sure you decide which is better between your shields and weapons or the foe's.

Well that's it from me. Feel free to improve my deck. Now be nice, as I'm no expert as I said. I don't want to start a flame war in my thread. =|
Enjoy!

This looks good, and I like your explanation & notes.  However, is this deck for PvP, or any particular ai level?  Which decks does it beat, and which decks cause it problems?

Overall, v. nice.

Well this deck doesn't do so well with T50, it can sometimes beat AI5, but not with ease. And PVP might not be so bad. =P
I would say this is an AI3 farmer more than anything. Because that's what I had the most success with. By a longshot.
AI6 is instant suicide.
Discords may sometimes screw up this deck, as well as infections (due to adrenalines attacking many times per turn, so 1 poison = 4 damage) and Fire shields (Same reason). Thorn / Spine carapaces may cause a problem too, and Diamond shield won't even enable your minor vamps to attack. Also the Eagle's Eye, Firestorm and other damage sources may provide problems with this deck.

Thanks for asking. The more questions I get, the more knowledge people get of the deck. XD

I would exploit the glitch with vampires and empathy. Just add in 3 empathetic bonds in place of the thorn carapaces and an Obsidian Pillar. You heal a lot.

I've tried that before. But for some reason it heals one.
And for this deck maybe it's good to have defenses.
I might try again just in case and I'll edit this post of results. Thanks for the tip. =)

EDIT: Ahah. I get you're saying now! They heal 4 instead of 3!
Thank you very much. I might use that. =P

Since the new update, Zanz fixed the vampire + EB bug, or tried to.  Now, instead of healing one for each creature, EB counts hyper vampires as four creatures.  Meaning that a single EB with one hyper vampire will heal you for 12!  I cannot say for certain this is intended behavior, and it might be an exploit.  Either way, with the decks full set up, you'll be dealing 72 damage and healing 144 life each turn.
It might have been patched though in Version 1.23.
