Another pretty simple rush deck. Play Puffer Fish asap, and Epi it. 12 damage + 2 poison counters per fish builds up quick. Congeal and Heal for defense. Rushes Ai3 easily and Ai4 can be a problem with bad rng.

Water pends would be even more useful than normal here by allowing first turn Puffers more often

Hm, didn't even think about pends, nor first turn puffers. With this setup and a good hand you can get second turn puffers + epi. Would a first turn puffer still be better, than a third turn epipuffer?

First turn puffer, second turn you epi it. The core thing here is that your deck can work awhile without adrenaline, but if you don't get your fish out you're not doing anything
Converting 3 :life towers won't make first turn fish that much more likely, but second turn...

& then I get thinking and can only say: Thank you for showing me an argument not to pend split. One :life tower and you get epifish turn two, whereas pends imply turn 3. You may be in the right with this

This is an interesting deck indeed. I had to do a lot of testing to get quanta and speed just right. Thanks for the thoughts.  :)

I looked at it once... And I have to say, considering the amount of rage potions, lightnings, plagues and reverse times the AI 3 loves to play, it's 1. better if there is at least one turn (two is better...) difference between the first fish and first epi, and 2. you only use 5 creatures in a deck against AI3...? You won't have more than two creatures often, and they can be CC-ed easily. (Well, at least they are resistent against Maxwell's Daemon, Otyugh, Freeze, and Basilisk Blood)

What i want to say is, that this deck might be perfectly fine against AI4 and PVP 2 (I don't play there that often, so I don't really know that), but against AI3, increasing the win chance a bit by adding more creatures and removing the congeals (since AI3 is slow anyway, and most CC-Creatures of them are useless against 3/5 creatures) is the better option to maybe decrease speed a little bit, but avoiding frustration by 3 rage potions or two lightnings in a row.

I would use it against AI 3 by removing the towers for pends, creating a turn-gap between fishes and epi, then removing 4 congeal, adding 1 fish and 3 dragons (I would test out how much life or ice dragons would be better, depending on quanta balance). If you don't want the slow-down by late-game dragons, add 3 Cocks instead (more CC-resisent than frogs).
What's the speed of dark?

You bring up a really good point, Keo. I'll do some testing with dragons and cocks, and post the results for you. Usually you can have 3+ fishies out with epi by the time you win, if they do happen to get rage potted, or any other form of CC, hopefully the poison can get the win for you, in which case, the congeals do become useful for stalling.
