As you can see just from looking at the top of the screen, this deck is quite old, but I took it out for a spin, and it worked sufficiently well. So I decided I would submit it to the Deck Archive.
But to do this, I wanted to give a completed deck, not just a picture with some basic ugrading tips. So, here is the slightly-revised deck, with some other hints and tricks to go with it.
(And a much cooler name- Gargoyles are Darkness yet Rocks, therefore Obsidian, and Shadow is self explanatory)

This is not a deck for the people who click and space. It looks deceptively simple, but for true effectiveness, you will have to think about the cards you play.
Gargoyles have quite a bit of health, making them good to drain your opponents CC, while also making them great targets for Liquid Shadow. However liquid shadow can also be used as a form of creature control (Lobotomiser for weak creatures- poison for low health). It is completely dependant on the situation to prioritise.
Dragons are generally for damage, and should only be played with Liquid Shadow to ensure Elemental Mastery.
I have also put in a single Earthquake. Currently, there are no pillarless AI3s, and one earthquake will usually slow the opponent down. It should usually be played on the opponents non-mark pillars, however this is dependant on their draw, and their decks.
To play this in anything other than AI3, I would add a steal rather than an Earthquake, and try to include another somewhere.
If interested in upgrading, Nightfall should be upgraded first, Dusk Mantle, then Towers and Gargoyles alternating.
