RoL/Hope - wait, where's the Fractal? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=18366.msg233749#msg233749

Strategy:
There isn't much of strategy needed for this deck. Simple play-anything-you-can will do.
Use Crusaders on EE for additional damage and CC.

Build:
12 Light emitting creatures. There is no Fractal needed here.
-- 6 RoL, need to be upgraded.
-- 6 Firefly, need to be not upgraded.
3 Hope to survive the onslaught
3 Miracle to heal up poison, momentum and early damage.
3 EE+ 3 Crusaders, CC and damage source
2 Animate weapons to counter PC and stops EEs to clutter your hand.
6 Wind Pillars to give you enough  :air ... thinking of adding moar.

Weakness:
CC - When your creatures die, you die.
Quanta denial - Though this deck isn't exactly slow, it hurts really bad if you don't have enough  :air to play EE or Flies in the beginning.
Stall - Especially Aether, there is nothing this deck has against that.

FG wins(EM)/total fights
Chaos Lord
Dark Matter
Decay 0/1 - Fun Fact- he fractals RoL's.
Destiny 0/2
Divine Glory 1/1
Dream Catcher
Elidnis 0/1 - HARD!!!!
Eternal Phoenix
Ferox 3(2)/4 - 1x no shield no miracle = death :(
Fire Queen 0/1
Gemini 1/3 - Instaquit when early Lobo
Graviton 1/3
Hermes 0/1 - Instaquit. (Unhealthy Combination of CC,PC and damage)
Incarnate
Miracle
Morte
Neptune 0/1 - Instaquit. (too much CC)
Obliterator 0/1 - Instaquit. (Diamond Shield+Health+Momentum)
Octane 0/2 - lol
Osiris 0/2 - Instaquit. (CC sux)
Paradox
Rainbow
Scorpio 1/1
Seism 0/2
7(2)/26 - 26.9% meh :(

Ah well, I quit it xD
Winning chance is too low and too many hard ones.

Any suggestions on how to improve this?

"mana denial"
surely u meant quanta denial

this might be more reliable than the original RoL/hope, due to the CC, however, it might lose very early on, due to the lack of RoLs or fireflies in hand (the lack of bioluminence creatures is not too much of a problem for the original, due to fractal, as soon as u draw one RoL, u essentially got 50 more where that came from)

Without fractal you can't build up enough damage for false gods with lots of healing. You might even deck out against gods you would be able to win with the original due to the lack of damage. Not to mention lobo being an awesome weapon which owns eagles eye most of the time. Fire Queen and osiris probably became much harder to beat with this deck.

Enh, Fire Queen and Osiris have been a crapshoot with the regular RoL/Hope for me anyway.  Electrocutor never seems to come early enough.

Three, in a deck of about 34.  Osiris usually requires you get it on the table on turn 1 or 2, in order to keep up with the rate of play of Pharaohs; I usually get screwed by no weapon or not enough pillars in opening hand... or both.

I ditched RoL/Hope not too long ago, going with a fat Timebow these days for FGs.

Erm, yes thanks, I already changed it. Guess I'm just too much used to MTG and sometimes still say mana instead of quanta^^

In the battles I had so far it wasn't much of a problem to have "only" a couple of light emmitting creatures. If you have like 4 of them that is plenty to block most damage, if something goes over that you usually still have a miracle in reserve.

Without fractal you can't build up enough damage for false gods with lots of healing. You might even deck out against gods you would be able to win with the original due to the lack of damage. Well true, Osiris is an instant quit and the FQ is a quit as well when you aren't fast enough or too many spawners hit the table.
But as you lose to some FG, new ones become beatable.
As an example:
Ferox is hardly beatable with with the usualy RoL/Hope, but easy with this one.
Scorpio - quite easy as well.

Well, I'll go FG farming and add the stats when I have them.

With the original RoL/Hope deck scorpio is okay with 4-6 SOGs in your deck and if you can get early lobo and hope for physaila and pufferfish. And ferox can be beatable if you fractal enough dragons before he plays too many bonds, though I suppose ferox would be much easier with the eagles eyes.

Interesting concept. Maybe not as efficient than the original, but like you said, wins more often against some FGs and loses more to some others... Next time Oracle says Ferox, I'll might try this.

Think Damselflies also. You can now have max 17 creatures, leaving 6 slots empty.

Damselflies would be a nice addition. But I don't have any, yet ;)
I wonder what to remove for those. Everything in the deck is needed and I somewhat don't like the idea of removing pillars for the Damselflies, this would make the deck slower.
