quantum tower + mindgate is COMPLETELY out of place and QT would never be able to supply enough quanta for you.

Methinks that QT is to supply quantum for SoG so it doesnt take all your light/aether and can provide a tiny bit of protection vs Decay denial. Don't know about the Mindgate though

I guess that makes sense but ya mindgate is completely out of place.

Actually the mindgate works really well in this deck, at least for my playing still.  So many of the FGs have the cards in their deck that help counter their own strategy (i.e. purify in Scorpio) that having that one Mindgate often times really helps.  And I rarely have trouble with having enough Aether quanta so it's a good way to put that extra to use.  For my 2 cents its actually the one card that makes this deck playable over and over again for grinding, at least there's some hope in tough situations and some variety between games.
