actually I think you're on to something. the deck I made is based on yours with a few changes. to make it work, you really need several mindgates IN PLAY, so i use 5 in a 30 card deck. 6 would not be unreasonable. i like the idea of adding steals to a mindgate based deck, makes sense to copy AND deprive...ouch. also helps get the pillars you need to cast their stuff, per Poker Alho's complaint, which is also why having lots of mindgates is so important.
some things will slip through before you get your mindgate factory going...i added 2 parallel universes to get their early combod creatures...then lobotomize them
the steals can also address permanents that get out before you can mindgate them. this just leaves spells...can't really get copies of these, but you can silence them, as you have in your deck. i found these not sufficiently helpful against most decks to warrant space...gotta keep it mindgate-dense :p
i did deck out once due to lack of damage, with perfect health
so i added the single phase dragon. hmph.
this deck worked pretty well in pvp1 against a variety of things. copy their stuff, do it better, shut them down. steal freely
