Entropy/Death-CAT DECK https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=50235.msg1084842#msg1084842
« on: July 04, 2013, 08:42:24 pm »
Hello,

Have been fooling around with this deck lately. The combo works with basic cards just as well as upgraded. Any suggestions on how to make it better (please play with deck before suggestion)?

Thanks in advance,
aTaK

I'm afraid I never tested it (I can't at the moment :) ), but how about a 3rd bone wall? I would be worried that the Condors would get killed by your own Pandemoniums before they got very big, but I'm not sure that's a big problem! I couldn't really say much more without playing it :p How does the Butterfly Effect work out for you?

Hi UndeadSpider1990,

Quote
but how about a 3rd bone wall?

You are absolutely correct and I have made this a permanent change already.

Quote
I would be worried that the Condors would get killed by your own Pandemoniums before they got very big, but I'm not sure that's a big problem!

As long as the Condor is on one of the outside rows, by the time the effect of the pandemonium gets to him he has already gained +4/+4 or more . The pandemonium also makes the Bonewall go bonkers so its okay to kill them occasionally. The only effects the Condors are afraid of are ''reverse time, gravity pull and lobotomize''. However against green/white deck they are vital to winning.

How does the Butterfly Effect work out for you?

It is very costly and when someone starts to attack the permanents it can even become useless because you need 7 mana to activate and destroy in one turn...but I have no other option vs opponent Shield/Weapon. Any suggestions?

Why not? no time? the deck works fine totally unupgraded so you can play it at a low cost and get great results.

How about trying Arsenic instead of Butterfly Effect? The poison may go a small way to counteract the more annoying shields like Phaseshields and Bonewalls, plus it adds nice offense (especially given the stalling capabilities of Bonewall).

I hadn't been able to test it due to being at work haha. I'll have a play now :P

I switched Condors for Ivory Dragons because I think you can afford them. Obvious pros are they're initially tougher, I wish they had more than 5 HP though!

Spider,

TRY THIS:

play your condor into third row (atleast two creatures rows full), then play pandemonium. condor gets to 7& or higher then the next turn it is stronger then dragon....
