As Fractal was banned in the Trials, I had tons of decks to choose from when coupled with Dimensional Shield. I've always loved the reliability of the deathrush, so we get this simple little gem. The name was inspired by the fact that Death and Aether have recluses, so I'm getting help from my brothers in arms.

Optional changesI pondered on using SoG's, but I don't want to slow the deck down. If you want more EM's, go ahead and pack them.
The deck works with unupped pendulums, but suffers a bit due to not getting the first or second Dim Shield out soon enough. Likewise, you could do the entire deck unupped and use Mummies instead of spiders, but you'll need to at least do -1 Arsenic, +1 Pendulum, or change mark to Aether and change Pendulums with the original build. Changing mark and Pendulums works better when upped, since you get damage out faster that way.
StrategyRecluses do nasty damage for only 3
, and Poison provides a second way to do reliable damage. Mixing poison and physical damage is always a good idea.
If you end up with 4
, you will usually want to play 2 Deadly Poison before 1 Flesh Recluse due to reliability of damage.
You will usually want to wait with playing Dim Shields for as long as you can, since you will negate more damage the longer you let them set up. If you have plenty of shields though, you can feel safer.
It will be slowed down by Eternity/Sundial, Owl's Eyes, Dim Shields, Wings, CC (argh, Maxwell's) and Purify, but can often edge a win out against these HB's as well. Otyugh+Momentum damage is a loss, and excessive PC is always a problem. Aether HB's can Mindgate you out of the game if they get quantum towers to pay for Deadly Poison. Antimatter can straight up outheal you if you don't get lucky with Arsenic, and so can Bond-using HB's.
