Actually plays a lot better than I'd have thought it would.  I've played 20 games with it against AI3 and won 15.  That rate will improve with more upped cards, and swapping out a Pendulum for my Light Nymph will make it stronger still.  What's useful is that the AI targets the RoLs once you've got Hope out, so they protect the Seraphs in that dangerous first turn.  It is, of course, extremely vulnerable to Fire Shield and Thorn Carapace.

It's a much better deck than it has any right to be, seeing as it was created purely for the sake of making a bad pun.

How's the quanta usage? Do you have enough light to play those miracles? And hope? Most people generally use unupped hope since it's cheaper.

There's tonnes of quanta.  I've not yet not been able to play a Miracle.  If anything, there's a little too much :light, what with the Pendula and RoLs, but I think it's useful to be able to play Hope as early as possible.

With Fahrenheit, of course, the more  :fire the merrier, so there's no such thing as an excess of  :fire.  It can be a little slow to get Seraphs out sometimes, but upping the Towers and Pendula would take care of that.

I'd take out the miracles, swap some pends for pillars, and perhaps add some deflag. Maybe even remove the hope, since this looks like a fast rush deck.

The Miracles have won the game for me more than once with this deck.  I think the Pendula are important in order to get Hope out early, and the only time I've found Explosion could have helped was against Dimensional Shields which, in AI3, is rarely encountered anyway.

Maybe even remove the hope, since this looks like a fast rush deck.

But without Hope the AI will target your Seraphs on their first round and kill them instantly which, again, happens more than you'd think it would.

Besides, you take out Hope, then there's no point in having the RoLs, and I'd have to try to find another card that starts with a K or which sounds vaguely like "que" to build a deck around.  "Plague Seraph Seraph", perhaps.  "Quake Seraph Seraph"?  "Flay Seraph Seraph"?  "Drain Seraph Seraph"?  "Phase Seraph Seraph"?  If you're going to make a pun-based deck, then it makes sense to at least keep one of the cards used for the pun as one of the elements you're going to be using anyway.

I suppose there's always Deflagra(tion) Seraph Seraph, but I don't think even I could use a pun that bad without feeling a little bit cheap for it.

Why don't you just Cremate the RoLs?

I'm not sure why, but I've never got on with Cremation.  Even using other people's decks that they've claimed huge successes with, I always seem to lose with them.

Still, that's no reason not to try again, I suppose.  I'll give it a go.

This deck is fine as it is, and it's not anywhere near a rush. It functions as a defensive domination deck, much like Monoaether. Instead of using CC as defence, it uses healing and a shield that can't be removed. If anything I'd add another Hope to strengthen the theme of the deck. Six pends seems perfect for it.

On a more general note, Seraph doesn't really function primarily as a tool for more speed. It takes more the approach of tough damage-dealer, much like the Phoenix or something like Steel Golem. Just like you'd rather pack Graboid in a rush, you'd rather pack Steel Golem if you're expecting CC. In the same vein, Seraph is an alternative to Phoenix when you're deciding not to use Golem.

Cremation, of course, turns it into a rush, and has, of course, been done.

Sooo, I gave it a go with this deck:

Played 10 games and won 4 of them.  Maybe there are tweaks I can make to it to make it work better, but I think I'll just stick with the one in the OP.

Yeah, I've thought about that.  I might give it a try tomorrow.  I've had far too long a day already to be up thinking about this stuff at this time of night.
