Quantum Denial

I noticed that nobody has put up the standard quantum denial deck.  Here it is:

To be most effective, you should upgrade to Towers and Quicksand that way you can play Devourers/Pests on turn 1 and Quicksands by turn 3.  This is most effective against duo decks that just use their Mark for a few key cards or abilities.  It also slows down a lot of fast mono decks to within beatable speeds.  Rainbow is it's biggest weakness especially those decks with Nova/Supernova.

Edit: The strategy here is to play your Pests as soon as possible.  Use Quicksands and Steals to destroy/take away their pillars.  Kill them with your Dragons.  Always try to have 2 earth quanta to use your Quicksands; use the extras to burrow your Pests.

Haha.  Yeah, I think they're annoying too. On the flip-side, I'd love to be able to see my opponents face when they realize that their quanta pile is slowly dwindling away and they can't do anything about it.

For this deck to be effective, you can't ever let them build up a quantum pile.

You're right. I meant quanta pile of ten or less, not quanta pile of 30.  It's common for them to be able to play a creature just because you can't use your Quicksand until the third turn and on average you'll only have 1-2 Pests in your first couple turns.  But hopefully, after that third turn, their small pile should be shrinking.

Of course like all things though, it depends on the draw.

A little more balanced, even if really poor on towers. I like eclipse to make devourers hurt...in fact i built this deck only because i like too much devourers and wanted to post "their" deck

really funny. I never thought that there will be someone so fool to try devourer+PU...I thought about it, but seemed fool PUing a 2 quantum cost card with a 6 cost one..:S
