Either Im just terribly lucky or eternal phoenix is beatable. the trick here is to make sure that you always have a fractal in your hand, even if that means taking 7 damage a turn. He will fractal your RoLs, so you dont have to keep any in your hand. Just beat him three times in a row.

Winning three in a row is certainly lucky. The Firestorm can be avoided easily by any RoL/Hope deck; where it usually fails is at surviving EP's rush. You use this Fractal trick against Decay as well though, and it's quite reliable as long as you draw enough Rays and everything else you need.

Semi-upped further down. Liquid Antimatter is the best by a fairly large margin out of the decks tested.

This is what i used. I found it to be more worth it to only have 3 hopes and more quanta production, because unlike cards where you need one in your starting hand, you only need hope around turn 3-4ish, so thats more than 10 cards into your deck, and with 1/10 of the deck being hopes, you should have drawn a hope by the time you need it.

A totally unupped RoL/Hope (yes, I know theres no RoLs). Im winning about 50% against HBs with it currently but fire shield/thorn carapice or renewable cc = auto quit, I guess thats the same with standard though.

Edit: my bad, meant 50% against hbs (in which i was quite lucky on several occassions), considering my winrate with the upped version on trainer was less than 20% I dont think Ill ever be trying anything but totally upped decks against fgs.

I've tried similar decks before with Fireflies. The main problem is getting fast to set up defences, which costs you a lot of games. That's what going trio does.
As for your version, I'll try it in trainer with -1 Sanc, -1 Fractal. I can promise you the winrate is not at 50% against FG's though; not even completely upped RoL/Hope has that. I would guess around 15-25%

10 pends in a 35 cards deck really ? Even if they were all upped I won't do this.

But as Higs said it can be a good way to play fully unupped RoL/hope.

I am not going to argue over pend count for three reasons:
1) my own experience shows it is capable of some success in hbs at least.
2) you are allowed to modify/build any deck you want... nothing is forcing you to use that exact build.
3) that was just a suggestion for totally unupped hope, 9000 is a lot for begginers to build even the most basic version.

Edit:
I count 11 pends, the deck hig is testing is -2 cards, thats 11 in a 33 card deck. Bearing in mind 8 of the cards are powered by the fireflys not pends id say thats 11 pends fueling 14 cards.

Yeah lol I'm pretty tired so I badly counted sorry.
11 pends for 33 cards looks fine. Just only one thing you forgot : when you fractal your firefly you need air quanta to play them so virtually you have ton of air cards to fuel you see ? Moreover are 6 fractal not too much ? I used to run 5 only.

And I really like the idea to build a RoL/hope fully unupped, looking forwards some news if it works !

Would sanctuarity fit this deck? TO use the excess of light quanta + aim for EM? How many should one add?
