@title: I was thinking about this title for a while. xD

Anyways, jmdt, good luck on the rest of the Life/x EM rushes.
After this I think I'm done with EM decks for a while, the rest are just too difficult to pull off.  Maybe a :life / :darkness one, but I doubt its worth doing.  The darkness cards are slower in general.
:life/ :darkness is one of the simplest EM decks in the game.

Adrenaline + vampire = Lolz.

Adrenaline + vampire + 2-3 heals would be epic em rate...
Flying Vampire Daggers work better.  With Eclipse they do 8 damage (optimal for Adrenaline).

It is optimal because 9-12ish (maybe 9-13) it is lower than 8, so to get it doing more damage than 8 you have to up the attack by quite a bit.
I like Deadly Poison better.

I like Deadly Poison better.
I'm trying extra towers atm for launch, but I need to try poisons.  I haven't seen many situations were I'd need them, but I won't know till I try them.

After testing, I finally settled on a version I like.  The ttw is 7.128 and the EM rate 60.3%

Somehow I doubt it, because costs go up for heals and stats go down. Try it if you want, though!

Mono life Speed EM is clearly a better deck. It has 5/3 frogs for 2 :life and 5/5 cockatrices for 3 :life. This one has 6/3 recluses for 3 :death and 5/3 mummies for 3 :death. Frogs have slightly better damage-to-quanta ratio and cockatrices are quite a bit sturdier. Mummies have resistance to Reverse Time, but at the same time Maxwell's Demon is going to rip apart this deck. This is not the case with Cockatrices. In addition, because speed EM is mono deck, mark quanta can be used on creatures in case of bad draw.

Sometimes damage to card ratio is more important than damage to quanta ratio.
Honestly, if you try out USEM, you get a lot of situations where you've sent out all your creatures and have a quanta pool accumulating until you get more.
If damage to quanta ratio was really important to a deck, than everyone would use dirks and RoLs for theyre primary sources of damage, right?

You have to find a balance between card/damage ratio and quanta/damage ratio. To have neither a huge quanta pool, nor a full hand you can't play.

This deck is actually faster than the mono life speed EM by a bit, but as a compramise EM's less frequently.  Actually in head to head testing, this deck beats the mono life version due to the higher damage threshold.  Everything is a trade off in deck building.

amazing deck, although a bit ineffective against some new t50 decks.

i'm testing a slight poison variation:
Code: [Select]
710 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 713 713 713 713 713 718 718 71a 71a 71d 71d 71d 71d 71d 7ai 7ai 7ai 7ai 7ai
arsenic is much superior to the longsword, imho.

I made the deck for AI3 at first.  For T50, yeah poison is quite great.  The poison + heal combination is quite effective versus most decks.
